Credit to Van for responding, in the moment and in the face a huge celebrity and icon and not backing down and still delivering some really real shit to Kanye’s face.
It seems like this is 100% about context. In American Sign Language, that’s the sign for the number 9, or a slightly modified F depending on how you wanted to look at it.
Isn’t that the symbol you make in middle school that, if you get someone to look at, you punch them in the arm?
I think it’s mainly that, while both companies collect data in exchange for a service, Facebook has on multiple occasions shown a willfulness to use that data to suit their own needs at the expense of users. While Google has always made strides to protect user data.
Until it is shown Google compromised individual data to people guilty of treason, I am OK with Google summarizing individual data into demographics to sell ads.
I think that’s why Nailed It! really clicked with me. There was plenty of awkwardness, but none of the hosts had that rage. Even when one of the contestants gave them raw batter and I think another just... forgot eggs entirely.
Update: repeat-checking behavior of first time parents has been restored. Parents that have previously raised a toddler to teenager will leave subsequent toddlers in the care of the dog to try and woohoo but probably just wind up napping on the couch.
If we’re supposed to ever get the masses into EVs, putting chargers at Walmart is a good step in that direction.
Athough Slowpokes do not provide the satisfaction of a good hunt due to their lethargic pace, their meat is delicious when properly cooked. They can be easily harvested and must be cured, similar to pork, before serving. Their pelts are soft but change color after tanning, and it is difficult to maintain the pink…
“What do they call a Whopper?”
Hot damn! They should’ve kept the turn 7-9 switchback sequence though
Is this real life? Like seriously, if they raced here or Laguna Seca, I would actually watch that instead of football
This is just the worst! And I feel like The Root is the only one writing about it. Those poor children.
Raleigh instead of Charlotte?
It may have a clean title, but it’s not without its blemishes. Just for kicks I pulled the Carfax on it.
“I’d love to avoid talking completely and just make things people can play.”
As a UI/UX person, this is a big no-no. You don’t want stylized typefaces like this for anything other than very small bits of text. Like, maybe a button. But certainly nothing you want people to truly read, like multi-headings or article titles.
And really, this one is bad because the glyphs are easy to confuse with…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Murray was the only character on that show that I really liked.
To be fair, Carrey painted Sarah Sanders as Sarah Sanders. Genetics and a lifetime of habitual lying made her a monster!
