While I’m not a fan of the AVGN stuff, I feel pretty bad for James Rolfe and the utter shit storm he got hit with just because he said that he doesn’t have any interest in seeing the movie, and it doesn’t look good to him. He even admits that it may turn out good, but he’s just not keen on catching because he’s pretty

“gender of its cast, its rebooting of a beloved franchise, or basically just existing” - I think my issue is it just doesn’t look very good. To me the franchise has always been about humor, cool science, and scary ghosts, but I haven’t laughed at the trailers yet, the science looks dumb (ghost punchers and bear

Love Riri, but I’m not a fan of making superheroes into a title-based legacy. No outrage or anything, just getting tired of the lack of faith comics have in new (and especially diverse) characters and how much they need to attach them to the names of more popular characters in order to sell. That’s also predicated on

Liberals: we’re open minded, as long as you agree with me.

I’ve noticed that any political opinion that runs counter to Gawker’s is seen as inherently wrong, and not a legitimate alternative viewpoint.

Of course the gawker narrative is to oppose leaving. Why cant you just be happy for the Brits, when theyve made a choice in a free society?

Still “hit king” is most hits at the highest level of play in baseball the MLB. Not who is the best pure hitter, highedt peak, combo of average and power, or any other metric. Its a pure one is greater then the other

Do we include Rose’s minor league numbers or are we pretending the Nippion league is on MLB’s level?

...which is clearly related to financial management. Killing off a character is that much money you won’t be able to milk later. There’s a very real financial cost. Artistic integrity vs money, what a dilemma!

Bayhem is very specific to Bay and while many people try to emulate it, it’s still a pretty specific formula. Like it or not I think Bay is actually pretty genuine about what he does, even if misguided.

This list pretty much hits what the MCU rides on.

Why do I get the feeling that this post and the embedded video were made by people too young to have seen BTAS anywhere but on DVD or streaming?

Thought Perry made everyone he didn’t like do sports.

I guess I just don’t put killing soldiers in a war on the same level as murdering some motherfuckers. Same thing with Captain America killing Nazi (Hydra) soldiers in World War II, it kind of goes with the territory.
Also, I imagine Wonder Woman would have fewer qualms about killing than I think Batman and Superman

Wonder Woman has never really had a big problem killing enemy soldiers, though. She fought in World War II after all. She’s pretty much like Captain American in that regard.

Eh. Amazon’s are a warrior culture. I’m much more comfortable with Wondy being willing to kill than Supes doing it, or Bats using a gun.

What if the whole point of this movie is to mock comic books and their idiotic fans?

ah, another one aboard the hate train I see, go with the herd, go little fella.

And sometimes the internet mob collectively decides to hate on a film before its even out :) This is one case, Ghostbusters is going to be another. Doesn’t matter how good it ends up being. The internet mole-men have decided.

Don’t blame the movie because you couldn’t understand it.
