So... to put things in context, a 60/40 profit share is very generous for the industry. They’re not lying about that.

My wife was organizing things while I was at work and asked if I needed the Xbox controllers still in our moving boxes. I said “I think they’re for the Xbox One”. She took them to Gamestop and got rid of them because she assumed it was for an original Xbox 1 that we no longer had. I now have to go buy new Xbox One

Unfortunately I like the dpad to switch guns. Also this is still a poor implementation. For one the game should be able to track more than one quest objective on the mini map. So annoying to do one quest, leave an area then realize the objective for another quest was where you just were. Honestly I just stopped doing

Agreed. What boggles the mind is an article praising bad UI design from an author that is supposed to be educated in modern gaming. I mean modern gaming has quick menu options all over the place yet Gearbox couldn’t figure out how to do a hold R1/RB and press a face button to quick select a weapon? This would free up

Totally agreed with Horizon. Story unfolds very slowly, almost forebodingly, and hits you with a phenomenal gut punch. Great ending to boot.

And they still haven’t catched up, no one has made a world as empty as BotW yet!

Personally I thought Horizon had a fantastic sense of discovery in how it laid out its worldbuilding and story. I don’t think I’ll quite have a gaming moment quite like when you explore the Zero Dawn facilities and see some of the best philosophical and moral questions explored by gaming ever.

100% agree. The actual control and weapon mechanics feel great, and it would be an absolute waste to scrap that.

Yeah when i played the demo/beta, I remember the flying being fun. It got me excited. It game me hopes for a good Iron Man game. I hope thye can look at what works and build something solid out of it

I think the thing people aren’t taking into consideration here when it comes to asking “how could Anthem possibly turn around now?” is that there’s some genuinely very cool ideas in the game that are currently buried in a bunch of missteps. The actual flying is phenomenal, the game itself is beautiful (which makes the

I am always in favor of another comeback story and games have shown they are entirely capable of being reborn. There are things that are worth saving in here, and if Anthem can be salvaged I hope they manage it!

If they roll up their sleeves and really do this right, I will absolutely give this game another shot.

It’s not really optimistic to report the current machinations behind the scenes.  All he’s saying is that Bioware & EA are fully working on rebuilding Anthem in some form.  He’s not giving advice based on that news, he’s just reporting the news.

Bad news, we’re two months away from 2020!

Jeez, I feel old.

Thanks! Will update. I...momentarily forgot it was 2019...

It seems like the CDC has provided a pretty clear answer to the “But Why?” part of this article’s headline:

Because public health works on a precautionary principle with regards to evidence. Take the advice to pregnant women to consume 0 alcohol, for example.

There has never been a case of FASD, as far as we know, without a pre-existing condition of diagnosable alcohol or substance abuse. It has probably never happened that

Go. Be free. Service games are trash and only exploit FOMO. I deleted two of them and in the last month I’ve finished 4 games. I’m actually happy to go play games again and I’ve been having more fun than i have the last 2 years.

Hours of fear and anxiety afterwards.
