Ross is hard to watch for me.

The whole interview is really worth reading. She’s clearly very intelligent and I liked how straightforward she was in sharing her opinions, she didn’t deflect the way I see other people do in interviews.

But... Ross is objectively the WORST.

Why would he lean into acting more like him?!

Gritty is amazing. I will brook no dissent.

I think damn near everyone signs multi-picture deals with Marvel.

You can get out of them - like Hugo Weaving (I’m pretty sure he had a multi-picture deal), but most everyone signs them.

I’m assuming, but I think it would be mostly from him observing while on set or other meetings on each movie/project.

Or if you’re talking about the day-1 advantage look into the idea that the huge majority of people making hiring decisions are white and male therefore it leads to them hiring certain people more than others. Or that certain kinds of people come with better connections than others due to race and/or class - and what

What I mean is by the time you get to high level positions to fill there’s 10+ white dudes for every not-white and/or not-dude, all of whom are likely equally qualified. So, unless you’re actively seeking minority hires 9+ times out of ten it’s still a white dude you’re hiring because that’s the vast majority of

This has to start from the bottom-up. The biggest reason why the “only hire the best person” doesn’t work is that from day 1 in the industry white men have an advantage. And that squeezes others out as you go up the hierarchy, leaving predominantly white dudes at the end. So, by the time you’re looking at the highest

Awww, no more Joseph Smith with inexplicable ice powers!

The de-bow-wow song!

Her voice as Missy is very different than her normal speaking voice. So yes, she may be trying to sound more like a kid. Kroll himself does like 5+ voices on the show only his main character is just his regular voice.

Oliver started filling in at what was expected to be a slow summer. But then a bunch of gigantic stories exploded, including Snowden (or other huge spying scandal) and Carlos Danger! (which was crazybecause it would have been super awkward for Stewart seeing as how Wiener was his ex-college roommate or something).

I wonder if that last letter writer brought up her bisexuality because the long term booty call is a lady who doesn’t know the writer is bisexual either..... I have heard that the lesbian community can be dismissive of bisexuals as well.

At least, that’s how I read it the first time, though the sentence about men in

I thought the joke was that Tracy, who should know but doesn’t, has no idea what Harriet Tubman looked like.

That’s not at all what I’m saying or implying.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

01 to 03? Oof. That’s going to be much harder to prove with it being that far back.

Thanks!

Bluebearded? This term is new to me.
