Yeah, I think I can agree with that. The joke is two ridiculous people being ridiculous people, but the blackface is just shock value and nothing else. That’s the beginning and end of the joke, don’t need blackface for the joke to make sense or work. Just change the costume/pun.

A year later and this review is far too kind. What a damn mess. I’m dealing with this quarantine nonsense and yet have no urge at all to re-watch the show, so thoroughly did they botch the entire last season.

I haven’t been able to do a full re-watch since the finale.
