I’m more mad about the kiss thing. You can’t watch that and say: “Yeah, that was sure some platonic kissing there.”

Mulan had some really great songs.

I don’t understand the point of this movie.

I really enjoyed Grand Budapest, but the denouement is so sad it’s very hard for me to re-watch.

Fair enough. My takeaway was that it was more ambiguous than anything. The show seems to like to stay ambiguous as long as it can, both for drama and to allow for different writing choices rather than being locked in or having to retcon things.

Can’t watch the trailer at work. Did it reveal Stubbs was a host? All we know is he knew “Charlotte” was likely Dolores and he made an intentional decision to let her leave anyway. That’s it I thought.

I really really like Warren, and I’m sad her path to the nomination keeps getting narrower.

There’s somebody at the door. There’s somebody at the door!

Not necessarily. I would wonder what you didn’t enjoy about Toast? If it’s Berry’s performance than I would guess not (I haven’t seen this, but Berry usually operates on similar wavelengths no matter the production from what I’ve seen of him).

If it was the writing and plot then it seems these are very different

I will watch ANYTHING with Berry in it. He’s just so fantastic and I wish I could make my voice do what his does.

Yes! I hear you Clem Fandango!

So, to get everything, I would need BOTH HBO Now and this? Or does one include the other?

It’s pretty damn hilarious to me that GoT’s most lasting influence on television is likely to be the acceptability of incest plots in mainstream entertainment.

Ehhhhhhhh. See my comment above about BTAS’ use of Harley.

She wasn’t that well established as a character before they introduced the abused and toxic angle. And the original intent behind her means little in comparison to what they actually did.

And her complicity in mass murder is not the same across all

There’s not much more they can do with it as long as Vanessa is still around. Which is fine. I like seeing Deadpool happy in at least one medium.

Constantine and Sara are both bi characters, which is an even bigger deal considering television’s erasure of bi characters. And it seems even Legends had to fight that with Sara the first couple of seasons (implication being executive interference).

HI WADE!

AND Veep wasn’t building an entirely new premise, they just translated the premise of the Thick of It to the American political system.

Veep took a little to get going, including even recycling jokes from The Thick of It/In the Loop at the beginning.

I really want to like Gad, I do. But I just can’t.

I like that in the first episode of season 1 it was stated that as a result of the death of a DEA agent in Mexico, and the sheer wrath brought by the US as a result, by the time the main character arrived in Colombia, DEA agents were physically safe from harm by the cartels, it was just everyone around them in danger.

I live in Montana. It’s not bad. There’s lots of worse places. It’s always nice to see it mentioned in film.
