Would anyone at all care if they just ret-coned all the Bay movies at this point? Just start over.

Did no one catch that the urchin who told Otto was the same one delivering some coins to Mysaria when Daemon woke up? She’s the ‘White Worm’ AND she sold this knowledge to Otto knowing it would hurt Daemon. I’ve read multiple reviews and no one’s mentioned it.
I don’t think I’ve seen any of the originals and the show is still brilliant on its own merits.
EDIT: Dammit was beaten to the punch.
The trailer for this nearly brought me to tears. I can’t imagine what actually watching it would do.
My guess would be the baby stuff in the nightclub was done purely for promotion for the new season.
This is also colloquially known as “The Rickety Cricket Paradox”.
It’s fascinating to see what stuff works and what doesn’t for this crowdfunding. This is up to 6400+ backers already and it’s hours old. Meanwhile Reva’s lightsaber is at less than 2k after weeks. The failure of the rancor. Even the skystriker took a good chunk of time to hit its goals.
The ending of Zeta is so hilariously bleak there’s a good reason Tomino undid parts of it for the Zeta movies.
Zeta’s still the overall best Gundam series. And I think ZZ is maligned not just for tonal differences but because nothing was going to be as good as Zeta, what with Char exiting stage left and Amuro ducking…
I miss when voice acting was more of a specialty. People like Frank Welker and Peter Cullen are heroes of mine. And too often celebrity casting just doesn’t work that well.
Short answer: Emphatically yes.
Longer answer: In the Disney era of star wars, they have done quite a lot to show just how horrifically powerful Vader is. Prior to that there wasn’t nearly as much exploration of Vader’s power. Multiple storylines in the comics have gone out of their way to show the Vader can’t be…
I have grown far less critical of the prequels as time goes on.
Why would Owen, who is beyond dead set on keeping Luke a life-long farmer, (maybe with the support of Beru, we never get much of a read on her as to how she feels about Luke’s dreams of leaving) give Luke a spaceship toy which would only encourage his dreams of being a pilot. Getting such a toy from Obi-Wan would make…
Ehhhhhh. I can twist that into: We’ve spent the last little while training Luke. It’s too late for us to somehow get to Leia, convince her to train as a Jedi, and for her to defeat papa Palpatine before the Empire wins it all. But Yoda is like, naw, we can still do it.
But yeah the dialogue doesn’t work as well after…
- Now we know why Leia named her son Ben.
Quite a lot of the timeframes in ANH that were hinted at just don’t make sense with the prequels. They more hint at the Empire being around for about 40+ years rather than about 20ish.
You frankly have to just ignore it.
“However, she also tells Luke in Return of the Jedi that she doesn’t remember her mother when clearly she has a great relationship with her here.”
He was the best character by the end of s1.
I’m 100% there was at least a portion of the sex scene theatrically. Because I unfortunately do remember it.
Also, bless this article for existing. Thanks, Rob.
Ochi is a fun character in the various comics. Kinda impressive how much characterization a corpse plot device has gotten.
