I know you didn’t mean Ivalice was generic lol; I love the world of Ivalice and their games have always had that perfect mix of old-school western fantasy mixed with cool Japanese high concepts mixed in. And yes I agree with you here.

XIII was pretty colorful yet it wasn’t as fun as past titles. They really need to lighten up the stories of their mainline titles a bit. They’re getting way too serious imo.

Interesting, I like the “generic” artstyle that feels more fantasy and less hi-tech unlike previous main FF titles. I really wish they would make another Ivalice title because that’s the best designed FF world that’s ever been made.

Nintendo has a tight hold on their characters and IP. I would NOT be surprised to see them try to take near control of the project to make sure it’s a success.

This seems like the likeliest bet. Both are very well liked. And let’s be honest, Breath of the Wild’s designs are beautiful; it makes sense they would try to do the same or something similar.

Sure.

The only one I feel buying physical is really worth it now is the Switch, especially first party games. Those rarely go down in price and if they’re ever on sale they’re $40 minimum so you’d be making back at least 2/3 of the original price if you ever wanted to sell.

I’ve really enjoyed the show so far but episode 2 really made me question whether episode 1 had been a fluke or not. The pacing issues and the whiplash I felt from how fast it zoomed by made me dislike it even when all the elements in it are things I love to see in weird genre stories. I love that the show isn’t

Read a history book. Why are people so easily offended when people spell out the truth?

I think it works well for the show. While I do agree it explains some pacing issues (episode 2 was a wild ride which I wasn’t a huge fan of) the show did manage to start getting it right with episode 3 onwards. I haven’t read the book but from what I’ve gotten is that each story within it is based around a different

The $299 price tag makes a ton of difference. It’s a great cheaper alternative for those with regular 720p/1080p tv screens and on a tighter budget. Also cheaper for parents to buy for their kids. Not to mention a much lower pricing is a great entry point for people to buy into Xbox products. You get people getting

DC heroes are shown to be more like gods than superheroes: people to be venerated and admired both for their moral grandstanding and abilities. Even with Marvel using literal Gods as heroes they’re shown as more human-like that Gods. Since the DC characters are deified then it’s easier for people to think, “Yeah,

I’m not Black but I am Latino so this feels slightly related to me. Much like you I wasn’t shocked or angry or even surprised. How many times have we seen white people steal from others to hide their own inadequacies and give themselves a sense of self? At this point it even feels expected; culture vultures are

lol they really are

It looks fun. With James Gunn at the helm I don’t see how it can’t be. And I had no clue Peter Capaldi was cast for this (or I forgot). Hoping he’s the big bad here.

Yeah, Birds of Prey was surprisingly decent. One of my gripes with it though is how little Birds of Prey there is since they all only team up at the last fourth of the movie so what little interaction they have isn’t enough for me to believe that last big scene with them at the diner. Still a fun movie although parts

That was a great twist and connection to the original. I did dislike a few things about the first season but overall it was good. I never finished the second season but to the point I got to (maybe 7 episodes in?) I liked it but I just got bored for some reason.

Not that I’m going to watch this but please why Nico Tortorella? He’s awful.

I came here just to mention that lol. They look like Hobbits with their outfits and hair.

Honestly... doesn’t look that great. Would’ve been nice to see David Fincher’s vision for it because this looks kind of bland. Not a fan of the casting either.
