Really? She did it out of grief. She had just learned about the "deaths" of Bran and Rickon and couldn't imagine having to lose her two daughters so she did what she thought would bring Arya and Sansa back to her and Robb. It makes a lot of sense once you think about it.

I've read the books and understand the need to put Daenerys' plotline to the side for a bit, but it's still disappointing. The good thing is that the third season will focus more on Dany given how fucking awesome she becomes on A Storm of Swords.

The casting for Brienne was perfect, but my only problem with the portrayal was the voice. I always imagined Brienne having a more feminine voice. It's only a minor quibble though and I'll probably get used to it.

Well, let's hope so because I did not like this Aeron. For one, he looked too healthy for someone whose diet consists of seafood and saltwater (ew). I always imagined Aeron to look more like John Hurt in HP and the Deathly Hallows, although a bit thinner and with a crooked nose.

Almost everything at Walgreens is overpriced. Why? It's a convenience store and people would rather pay a little bit more for the simple convenience of being able to buy one or two things without the long wait times you get at big stores like Walmart and Target and these stores know it.

But wasn't the Doom of Valyria a few years before the Targaryen conquest, making it about only three or four centuries before the events of GoT? I remember reading that the seasons of Westeros had been like that for thousands of years, so I don't get how those two could be connected

It can't be a bromance if it's a man and a woman, but I guess in this case it makes sense then? It's really fun reading the way these two change and impact each other's views and it'll be even more pleasant seeing it on screen. I would so read a whole series based on those two traveling the whole world together.

Not really a spoiler. Remember seasons last for years and at the start of season 2 (or the second book Clash of Kings) Autumn has arrived and who knows how long that'll last. It'll come but later in the books and by then I suspect it'll have to do with the White Walkers. Everything seems to be leading up to it.
