I can't see him as the Doctor, but definitely as The Master. Plus, I don't think Cumberbatch would be up for the silliness the role of the Doctor often requires.

That poor soul. Bless him for he knows not what he says.
Oh, my heart breaks! He's my first Doctor and will always hold a special place in my heart. The first time I fell in love with his portrayal was at the end of Flesh and Stone, in his conversation with River Song. That damn scene always make me feel all warm inside.
Probably fear of being typecast?
Cyber ghosts/virtual afterlife has to be my favorite kind of ghost in sci-fi. Something about the idea of being able to download all your memories, thoughts, ideas, and personality into a computer, essentially a form of immortality, sounds equally appealing and horrifying.
And here I thought "Death Row" would be the thing for Texas.
Yes! Thank you for this.
I think he said he felt it was time to end with Misfits and pursue works somewhere else (including Hollywood). I can't blame him for it, although I'll miss him. Nathan was a shit-covered golden nugget that I'll never forget.
I guess this makes sense. I have a small group of "friends" on FB and I'm usually not one interested or at least intensely involved in trying to make more social connections.
Mine is 1. Beat that! ;)
The zombie version is actually less terrifying than the "real" one. Ugh, this is the stuff of nightmares.
Sorry to bring the bearer of bad news, but Nathan has left the show and is being replaced by a new character called Rudy and Nikki (the teleporting chick) died in the Christmas special. :(
I was ready to slap a bro at this until the Howard Overman part. Now I'm satisfied and really looking forward to seeing how this pans out. Hopefully it's not a "remake" but a show set in the same universe as the original UK show.
I'll never forget Nathan's face after the girl with healing superpowers didn't want to heal his STD. "Where's your humanity?"
I remember watching this episode but forgotten all about that ending.
"Peter", though story-heavy, might win over "White Tulip". What a heartbreaking episode, and man, what an amazing John Noble is. The man deserves all kinds of awards.
An honorable mention: Stargate Universe's "Time". I know this episode could have been used in almost any sci-fi show or any of the other Stargate series, but it was pretty memorable and showed how promising SGU could have been. That scene at the beginning, where Dr. Rush picks up a human skull, who the audience finds…
Totally. And the lady behind Phoenix Jones just looks like she doesn't give a shit and even looks a little bored. She's probably the best part of the video after Jones' hair.
As all the actions and all the episodes which happened running up to Peter's disappearance have no effect on the currently story, one can't say they were part of the current story's arc.
A Fringe recap, real-life superheroes, and now awesome exoskeletons? Today is fucking awesome all right. Thank you, io9!
