Prince of Persia: Sands of Time has one of my favorite endings. It wraps up in such a charming way that plays with the time rewinding theme and calls back to a sweet quiet moment between the prince and Farah (that she’s no longer aware of because of time shenanigans).

I love seeing things go fast in any form. The mad scientist in me still wants to see what a dragster could do if it ditched the batteries and used a truly frightening capacitor bank to dump ALL the power to the wheels in a really short period of time. I need to do some math and some research to figure out exactly what

To be technical - you don’t want battery packs with higher energy density. You mostly want power density for something like this = high power capacitors.

At what point electric dragsters will forego the batteries in favor of slot car style power transmission from the grid?

We have this total horse infrastructure and the horses are better than these new fangled automobiles therefore nobody should try to work on them or try to improve them in any way because after 1000s of years of using horses these new inventions are not as perfect.

Tired of the infrastructure can’t deal argument. 120 years ago did we have gas stations and super highways? no? so people should not have bothered building and improving gasoline powered cars? Petroleum has about 150 years of governments subsidies and about as long of a heard start. just because you fear change

Bullshit. Our power grid can more than handle a rapid growth in EV adoption, and anyone telling you otherwise is lying.

The old yoostabee gearheads didn’t like the transition to fuel injection either, but I don’t see them bitching about it now that there are cars running tens in the quarter mile from the factory.

You

I made homemade chicken nuggets this week and they came out so good! I just cut up chunks of breast meat, breaded them in salt, coconut flour & arrowroot and dipped them in egg. Then I fry them for a bit on each side and put them in the over to finish. I made an Asian style sauce to go with. Super yummy.

They’ve been trained to only want what’s familiar. We had issues with it all the time when I worked with children at the state run daycare. Some of them would refuse to eat anything that they didn’t recognise. Just because you don’t know you’re training someone, doesn’t mean you aren’t. That’s why we have so many adult

The thing with nuggets is that they’re made using a lot of binders and fillers to make the batter, which is the “unhealthy” part. It’s also why chicken nuggets are so much cheaper than tenders or strips; that, and the fact they’re made using parts of the bird that otherwise couldn’t be used.

Agreed; I walk by giant vats of the raw batter everyday, which is a pink, slimey substance that smells like Hell...but I still eat nuggets. Not my favorite chicken product (I still prefer the texture of whole-cuts), but nuggets are cheap, easy to cook, and make a pretty good vehicle for sauce delivery.

You’re absolutely right and that’s been my general impression as well. He’s spent his whole life being the CEO/owner and can say whatever he wants. In the business world, people know you’re biased and that can even be part of the charm. The people below him clean it up afterward. You can’t do that as president.

Dang, it didn’t even last the day. And of course the solution was to omit the other people.

Yeah, I was thinking that FDR probably gets more done than Trump, and he’s been dead for 75 years

She’s just humoring you, retard. Don’t you get it? (No, of course you don’t, because Dunning Kruger.)
