On the aircraft type I work on, the flight control computers will assist in keeping the plane in it’s flight envelope and general direction being input. Ultimately it was up to the pilot to determine the best way to maintain energy/altitude.

Engine alone does not make a minivan great. Plus a timing belt in a category notorious for not maintaining their cars. That’s as silly as complaining about it having a live axle in back.

VW “New” Beetles has a set of holes in the bottom cushion when flipped up to store the headrest. I didn’t even know the bottom cushion flipped up for a few years honestly as the back seat folds fairly flat regardless.
