You know. I can’t believe that never occured to me to toss a towel on the steering wheel. This might just make my summer ever so slightly better. Thanks!

I recall at a younger point going to many auto-crosses. There were a few oddball cars I didn’t expect to see. Especially in h-class stock, there was a Karmann Ghia. Beneath it’s sleek sporty body produced the slowest numbers of the day by 10 seconds from the next closest loser. How this thing looks like a race car...…
My AE86 is a total junkyard dog and has a lot of parts from random cars over the years. Nearly every trip to the parts store is a nightmare.
Let us not forget the numerous exciting special editions, such as the Voga Edition!
No they can’t just patch it out, this isn’t a cell phone where they can seamlessly roll out OTA updates. The receivers are intertwined with other navigation equipment on most aircraft, making disconnecting it a no-go.
I’m surprised it took this long for someone to point that out. +1 for you.
I’ve had the misfortune of having two of these for rentals for two weejs at a time. The first was a base model 4-cyl. There were few good things I could say about it.
Sounds like a line is open to atmosphere, or a gasket might not be sealing right. It may be easily possible to cap off those lines as well for testing.
Land Rover Discovery 2.
The non-adjustable electric choke on my Corolla disengages about a minute later than it should. Making driving a total pain in the rear until it opens.
Author was probably under pressure to bring something to the plate.
2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
Yes, you and everyone else here too. *high five*
What about the P/F-82 Twin Mustang. An engima of the early jet era meant to escort high-altitude bombers, turned to an observation/ground assault role. Complete with an offset cockpit with flight controls on one side only.
Why is it that every friend I have with a 4.0 Jeep has the exact same two things to say. “The 4.0L is invincible, never breaks ever, good for a million miles, unlike <insert other motor here>” and “Can I borrow your hoist so I can pull my motor?”
Break out the Sledgehammer baby. Seriously loved playing the heck out of that as a kid.
The first gen RX-7 weighs around 2300-2500. Mine 86 weighs 2340 according to the scale near me. (No weight reduction, with AC & PS at 1/2 tank)And the RX-7 (FB) had better weight distribution, lower CG, more power in final trim, and a watt’s linkage in back for better axle geometry.
Canadian Bacon? I know it wasn’t his greatest role, but it had plenty of hilarious moments. In modern context some of it is terrifying as it is funny.
DDing an 86 for the better part of a decade now. I never understood why it became the popular one. It would seem like a number of others from the era would have offered superior performance mod for mod (200sx and rx-7s come to mind)
I’d think it a challenge to find a 2000s era VW that was in any hot area that doesn’t have a saggy headliner.
