Think of the country as a big colon. Waddles was the severe case of constipation that was backing us all up. The election was the big dose of magnesium citrate that loosened up that clot of compacted fecal matter so we could successfully pass it. And Biden is the soothing medicated pad dabbing at our sore-but-relieved…

That last line brought tears to my eyes. I’ve forgotten what a normal presidency felt like. Turns out, I really missed it. 

My god....real tangible sentences! Coherency! Grammar! Actual speechifying! No mugging! No clichés! No constant rehashing of dumb soundbites over and over again and expecting that to be an answer!  From a President!

I watched this live and by the end of it I had rivers of tears streaming out of my eyes. It was relief, of course, that I was listening to the rational speech of a man who could very well be our next president. But it was also this feeling of the shock of the contrast to what we’ve been living - this has been hell…

My heart genuinely lifted. I got tears in my eyes.

This is nice and wonderful. Put the anger behind us and all that. But let’s also never forget. A lot of damage has been done. Trump and his crime family should be held accountable.

Meanwhile, Junior is literally calling for MAGAs to go to war.

I can’t wait for the Obamas to be able to set foot in the White House again as Biden’s honored guests. Joe and Barack gonna be having cookouts on the lawn every weekend. I can’t wait

Funny you should ask! If Biden holds his lead in this four states, he will win with a final tally of 306 -232. The final electoral count in 2016 was... *drum roll* 306-232. (It finished 304/227 before 2 Trump electors bailed and 5 Hillary electors bailed). So Biden could well finish by the *exact same* electoral vote…

So is 306 a landslide?
