I realize that they were really bad and this isn’t somehow defending the goverments of the 19th and 20th century, but in context this is pretty bad. Anyone that doesn’t vote for Biden is a fucking moron, but don’t forget the majority of Americans are utter fucking morons. Remember, most of us that pay attention to politics know the stakes involved — just as we did in 2016. The problem is that most of the electorate stayed home and didn’t vote.

If people stood in line for hours during a pandemic during the Wisconsin primary, then you can muster about the energy to register to vote (which you can do online in most states) and request a mail in/absentee ballot…

In fact, Biden is reportedly fairing worse than Hillary Clinton with the under-40 set: His lead among 18 to 34-year-olds is narrower than Clinton’s was to President Trump during the last stretch of the 2016 election cycle.

No I was just talking about how the POTUS general election works. Doesn’t matter who “a plurality of at most 30% of the electorate” chooses (ask Clinton-Kaine 2016).

Biden was not my first, second, third, fourth, or fifth choice to be the nominee but I am going to do every single thing in my power to make sure he is elected in November.

While I won’t hesitate to vote for him over Waddles (I’d vote for a field goal-kicking mule over Trump) he doesn’t exactly fill my heart with confidence, either. It kind of hard to believe that Joe Biden is who the Democrats settled on to go head-to-head with the worst president of all time. All he really needs to do…

Not happy for sure. But at least he addressed it and apologized for it. Trump says something horrible every hour 24/7 and has never apologized for anything. In fact, he doubles down.
