A lot younger than I'd have guessed. I would have thought he'd be 60 by now.

"heath care"

*deserts

It seemed to me like he was mocking empathylouis for liking a niche show, that, in Crow's New Hair's estimation, isn't funny. If I misinterpreted, a free round of corndogs for everyone!

I don't think you can criticize vague inside references to shows that nobody but you and a select small group of people watch, when you have a MST3K username. This whole website is a big fan of such references, so just because you're not a fan of the show doesn't mean you should mock someone else.

My mistake! I always miss those metaphors.

Conversely, I thought almost everything Conway did on that show was very funny.

Yeah, that's not really an obscure track, or at least it shouldn't be for someone writing about pop culture in the '60s.

Also that it has three 'y's.

Tennessee politics are my favorite aspect of pop culture!

Against all odds, Wendt is still alive.

I would guess Harrington and Clarke. I don't think they're terrible, but I also don't think they're worthy of any acting awards.

It's good to know WB isn't trying any harder with the advertising than with the filmmaking.

Most military people are conservative, I suppose?

America isn't the best at very many things, but the military is definitely one of the things. Also obesity.

Is it naive to hope that it's being used in a manner that's tongue-in-cheek?

"…accept "Liberal Arts" as Black-ish cannon…"

And he lost his license, so now he can't even drive his Maserati!

Definitely neither.

Trump's homophobia doesn't strike be as the subject here. I don't think the joke is homophobic at all though, any more than a sequel joke about two politicians of the opposite sex would be heterophobic.
