If you want to determine which is "right", look at the methods used to determine the likelihood. If it doesn't interest you because it's not a slam dunk, you're free to ignore it. I find Silver's predictions and reasons for his predictions pretty interesting, but I'm not asking you to. Similarly, it's up to you how

The header saying "innocent" instead of "not guilty" says everything I need to know about this show.

Capital punishment is cruel and unusual punishment for rapists and murderers. But for people who call Anne Hathaway names, that's it. Hang 'em high!

The value is giving a likelihood of Clinton or Trump becoming president, based on polling data. If the likelihood doesn't interest you because it's not 100%, then I suppose it doesn't have value to you. If you have a problem with the weights he assigns to certain polls (based on source or recency), that would be a

I'm not saying Silver's model is perfect. I'm just saying you shouldn't judge a prediction (or, more broadly, a decision) by the result. You should judge it based on the available data at the time.

You can't say Nate Silver's prediction was faulty. That's not how probability works. And even looking at probabilities, he gave Trump a much better chance to win than most predictions.

Thanks; my only knowledge is based in geography, not in reality.

If they change the flag by removing St. Andrew's flag, I doubt theyll add a dragon in its place. Wales is gonna be mad they're still not represented.

It wasn't episode four, but it's close enough for me to trust you in the future.

Yeah, I'm not sure how the nomenclature would change. They'll still be on the island of Great Britain, but not part of the UK. What will the UK's full name be? The United Kingdom of Some of Great Britain and Northern Ireland?

Scots are Brits!

If only he were funny.

I was mostly riffing on the phrase "hired stooge", because he's hired regardless of how much a blockbuster the movie is. I mostly agree with you. Although I don't mind when directors I like make big budget movies. If he can imbue any of that Looper or "Ozymandias" magic into Star Wars, I call it in a win.

Yeah, whatever he's saying, he should have said it better.

Unless someone chopped one off for luck, yeah, four is the standard.

It doesn't seem like he's comparing the bunny to luggage. It sounds like he's saying United cares about its customers losing things, from trivial things like luggage to important things like pets.

I hate it when artists get paid, too! What stooges!

Austin who?

Very little sports? You mean like, ant soccer or quantum curling?

Except they don't start at $10,000. There's no way the offer will ever get that high unless the plane is full of billionaires.
