The protagonist has a severe case of trying to out-suffer everyone she talks to. “Your father died? well reverse uno card, I’m an orphan and NEVER met mine!” kinda thing is so annoying to me because I met people that are like that, that no matter what you tell them they try to out do you as if everything is a

it pales in comparison to the number dying annually to war, crime, cancer, starvation

Sounds like you just haven’t researched the side effects, lib.

That one teaser from way back when looks worse every year. I don’t mean the graphics, I mean the tone—I would hope as a society that we’ve moved past the reflexive belief that grittier, more vulgar, this-ain’t-your-parents-Beyond-Good-And-Evil is an intrinsically worthy endeavour. WE’VE GOT A MONKEY THAT SAYS ‘MOTHERFU

Woohoo! Fuck Nintendo!

How is that ironic?

You’re very loud and one-note in your indiscriminate condemnation of AI art. Which in some ways, makes it cathartic to know that AI art is here to stay. It is a bigger technological evolution than going from pen and paper to digital was for art.

I just don’t get why nobody in security stops this or why nobody in the booth cuts the mic.  We spent too much time worrying about what people are wearing that we forgot we should actually have professionals in the crew to run the show.

One of my friends attends annual awards conference for people in his industry (construction, paving/concrete, upper management) and if you showed up in sneakers and tie-dye shorts or some shit, you’d be turned away at the door.

“GET OVER HERE...buddy, what’s it been, a year and a half? How are the kids?”

Most reviews seem to universally agree on 2 things; the graphical fidelity is top notch and the dodge mechanic sucks, the rest seems to be subjective. I don’t work in the games industry but I do work in software development and sometimes a senior designer/architect will come up with an interesting new idea or solution

Seriously we need to stop this idea that Charles Martinet would be a good mario for 90 minutes. He does a fantastic job with the short quips and reaction lines but god if you hear him trying to do long form mario it is just grating and awful.

It’s a fucking animated film for children (that adults can enjoy because of the references). It’s not that deep. Jesus Christ you people have no joy in your hearts.

I think you’re right that Nintendo definitely seems like the kind of company where there are well-meaning people trying to do what they think is right

“There’s no reason the Mario Kart scene had to also reference Mad Max-style vehicles.”

Alan Moore is rolling in his coffin.

He took the Ryu approach and ENDING.

I have enough hate in my body to go around, trust me, no one will be left wanting.

Literally my favorite PS2 game

I didn’t know. And I’m pretty common.  :D
