I had some bonding moments at the start of the game... but by the end of it I was trying to get out without Trico and didn’t care if he died or not.

I just beat the game tonight and agree with your frustrations. I was yelling at several parts of the game, there is no motivation or story besides... get out of this place.
Disappointing endings like The Last Guardian kill my desire to buy future games or even play anything for a while. Why did I waste my time playing…
“It is Ifrit’s masterpiece crafted to tell the tale of how he tried to save Eos, Goddess of the Dawn, by travelling into the Underworld to free her from her imprisonment. Let us stress here that Pitioss is NOT where these events actually occurred. Pitioss is literally a Greek tragedy stage play set up by Ifrit himself…
I’m with you on this one... there are a few Mythology books scattered across the maps that I skimmed over but I don’t recall any stories about Ifrit trying to save Shiva. There isn’t much mentioned about the secret dungeon in the game... and once you get to the dungeon it just seems like random devil, greek and skull…
Yep. I’m really surprised I didn’t break my controller whenever Noctis decided to take an extra step forward, roll or worse DASH FORWARD. On top of that, the camera deciding to drop down and behind me instead of staying back and above me so I could clearly see what the hell I was doing >:[
I recently noticed this in the carnival DLC for final fantasy XV.
I know it was just DLC... but walking past three clones standing together was a bit odd.
If you spent time exploring on the roadtrip, it kind of builds up an emotional connection with the characters based off their conversations and stuff... but I feel like actual story and content would have helped strengthen the ending more.

A chance for Ignis to learn a new recipeh? .... SOLD!!!
Niflheim... Emperor? I beat the game and I’m having trouble remembering this character that surely must have been intertwined to the plot! :P
The trick is to add your own recipes to make a custom cup. Minced meat is the key to every perfect cup of noodles.
I was excited on the train trip thinking the group was traveling to a new map... then excited again thinking there was going to be a full Insomnia post apocalypse map, kind of like past and future in chrono trigger.
I’m happy with the main map and Altissia was okay, but more would have been great.
Set up behind them as they drop and swipe them with a broadsword or ‘splode them with the crossbow. Or, magic... always magic.
I think my main goal in the game is to get Ignis to say “I’ve come up with a new recipeh!” as often as I can. Each of the characters have their own unique, likable quirks :D
Hopefully you’ve taught your 2nd grade daughter not to start fights with strangers.
I agree with you. It doesn’t matter if you’re a male or a female, you don’t start fights with people... especially fights you can’t finish.
The video is pretty clear. She started it.
I went out to eat with a group of guys and the waitress stuck around one of my friends to flirt with.
The guy never said anything to spur this, she just came up and started hitting on him and asking personal questions.
Another one of my friends would approach women and they’d actually have a back and forth conversation.
