Wow, that hood isn’t even close to fitting. Another ‘rare != valuable’.

Oh, also, regarding doggo:
Torch has the right idea. I did this (not an MG, I’m not insane) and it was a great way to overcome the boredom of a practical hatch, a Toyota Matrix in my case. I went the Porsche 944 route for my keep-me-sane vehicle and kept the Matrix for DD and trips to Home Depot and the recycling dump. Kids drive the Matrix now…
Since you were honest, I will be too. I daily drive a 2-door Rubicon. I’ll tell you though, no better vehicle on the NE Ohio snow and shit roads. Top off is also spectacular. Never been to Moab, but there are other places these buckets rule.
Yeah, lazy consumers who buy a car they like with their own money even though it won’t be used for a primary design all the time. I saw a Toyota FJ Cruiser in a lot too. That really grinds my gears. You know what is worse? People who buy sport bikes, Porsche’s, Corvetttes, Subaru WRX, and even those rediculous BMW M’s…
I am not divorced.... yet. But after 26 years, damn, there have been times...... Anyway, I digress.
Wow, everything about that car speaks to me (well, except the transmission. But, hey, this isn’t a track car). German, check. 80's, check, MB coupe with associated pillar design, check....... Oh, the wood.......
That’s just not true. I really, really want to buy one...
Oh, that is nice. Too bad there isn’t a picture of the engine bay....
Closest thing I can find is Pasadena Yellow, L Y1L. But it looks a touch brighter. Of course my color book could be faded or that picture could be ‘enhanced’.
Duuuuude.......
Man, did I pick the right day to drive my ‘86 944 to work, which I only do a couple times a year. Seeing these pics, and knowing that thing waits for me out in the garage......... so satisfying.
Maybe I’m being a dick, but this whole thing about RWD/AWD is a bit off to me. All Wranglers are RWD, until you put them in 4WD through the trasfercase (never on dry roads, kids). They are never AWD.
Surprised I had to scroll so far to see somebody mention this....... Drink your coffee, Jalops, your game is slow this morning!
Have a star.
When did they test it?
Dude on the Brooklyn bridge weaving back and forth blocking the other two cars was an ass. Looks like plate # 5N 33-15. Someone look that guy up.... Actually, lots of crappy driving in that video.
