Current high bid is at $5,700. I may need to open an account...

Funny how people see these things differently. If he “has plenty of money”, then why in the hell is he financing these cars and literally throwing money away? I guess my definition of “plenty of money” includes paying off credit cards every month, not financing cars and saving a little as well.

I forgot just how awkward and crappy these were. I can’t believe they used to try to sell these things with a straight face.

I had that sentence in my clipboard waiting to comment if nobody had posted it yet. Ughhh.

1. Back in the early 80's I was put alone on a Greyhound from Colorado Springs to Madison WI. I was about 10 (right? It was a different age back then). We got stuck behind a broken down train and were delayed a couple of hours. I missed my connection in Des Moines and had to spend the night in the bus station alone.

Let’s keep it up.

There are a couple near me. They are very stately. You certainly notice them. I hope they can hang in there. I won’t be buying one anytime, but I hope they make it.

How about 137 times, through the windshield? Cops claimed they heard shots, but it was a shitty muffler. One cop stood on the hood, emptied his clip into the driver, re-loaded and emptied another clip.....

I love me a good sports sedan, but I don’t get these. I got a NEW G70 as a rental in Colorado last fall. I drove that thing from Denver to Estes Park, then to Ridgeway (near Telluride) and then back to Denver. We knew each other very well. Granted, I did have the 4 cyl, but I was just not that impressed. I hated the

Wow, some of these are pretty light. I bought a 1986 Porsche 944 12 years ago for $2,700. On top of hundreds of my own hours doing mundane things, or things covered well at the wonderful but defunct Clarks-Garage web site or other resources, I calculate I have spent $14,000+ on critical systems just getting it running

I’m not going to guess what the cause would be, but Google will.

What is going on with this man’s abdomen lately? Almost looks like an ascites distention, but I hope not.

What would be the point of buying this shitbox?

Yeah, I test drove that Volvo T8 drivetrain. It is glorious, when new. But when I think small, double blown engine with 3 total power sources into the drivetrain.... I’ll enjoy it from afar.

Right after 9/11. I was in Pheonix for a layover before flying to SFO. I started to feel sick and very soon realized I was coming down with stomach flu. I decided to check into a hotel until I was better. But my bag was apparently already loaded on the plane, and they didn’t want to unload the whole plane for me (back

Well, Skeffles, I have good news for you. Packard has been revived. They are hand building cars in Medina OH.

Isn’t anybody going to mention the wires dangling from the dash? Let me check my notes... nope, that’s not a good sign either.

I had a 1992 Audi Quattro Coupe. When I was moving to Germany in 1996 I asked my Audi dealer about having it shipped over there, He said to forget about it, the wiring etc was different enough to be a problem and maintenance and parts would be hard. I wonder if this is a reciprocal problem.

Wow, look at the wheels. It drives me nuts on modern cars that alloys with directional spoke structure are all the same so that on one side they point forward and on the other they point to the rear. I call it walk or scoop depending on which side of the car they are mounted. I have commented several times on this;
