Nice choice in wheels sir. You have good taste.

Indeed. They do get quite obnoxious after a while. I suggest a turf war between "Bros" and "Hipsters" because i just think that would be fantastically entertaining. Make the prize something both treasure, like a 30 of PBR.
Cabs are wonderful things. Pricey, but they're efficient and they are always super handy when you have had a few too many at the pub. Drinking and driving is always a terrible idea!
Truth. I once worked a mile and a half from the dealership i worked at, and during the summer and warmer months I'd ride my bike or my honda moped if the weather wasn't miserable.
as stated, I REALLY don't believe that bicycles and public transport are ruining america.
Jesus drove a Miata. I know, I was there. He also built some bitching hot rods. Real car guy that Jesus.
Wish I hadn't missed the boat on this one. Howard County, MD home of some of the sneakiest and best funded Police officers on the east coast use some very stealthy machinery. First of all, I have only seen these used for highway patrols and traffic control, but nontheless very sneaky. They purchased a fleet of 10 2012…
Thats funny. I know very little about computers but I am skilled with cars and homes, and my best friend works in IT, so we trade off repairs I make to his house/car with him keeping all my electronic devices working as they should.
Same here. I love riding my TREK whenever possible and love the exercise and not paying outrageous fuel prices, but you cant do a 100 mile a day round trip commute in a state with shitty weather like Maryland on a bike.
Its mostly sarcasm and trolling. I like to use "whats wrong with america" sarcastically because the "green" folks say cars "ruined america". I have a bike I ride for fun, i commute to work by car because I live in the country miles from the closest anything. I spent my first 22 years in the city, so I know how…
Mostly sarcastic on the posting. I'm more worried over the death of the gearhead than the death of the car. In some way shape or from the car will be with us for a long time, and we can hope that we will always have petrolheads.
Agreed 100%. I thought I was posting on Jezebel or something. What happened to Jalopnik? I thought it was all about gearheads here!
Because this is Jalopnik, not Jezebel.
I'm an old soul I suppose.
Such obvious trolling as well!
Glad someone noticed!
I love Volvo, I love Toyota. This is awesome.
Hey shit is expensive and we cut corners and make shit work where we have to. This is the American way. The "hipster" thing is a reference to a sub group of people we have 'round here that are general lowlifes and do nothing but survive off their parents and attend rallies protesting things all day.
Rational decision! All depends on your own personal situation. Post was quite sarcastic, forgot to use air quotes. I was mainly getting on about people losing interest in the car and people advocating that a car is not at all necessary.
I hear that man. I have a shitty day, I get to drive 100 miles of traffic free highways and winding country back roads to get home. I just put some good tunes on the ipod, turn on the heated seat, get comfortable and just relax in the bubble that is my car and de-stress. Its my "me" time to decompress after work.
