The element of the graphically-updated 2D feel, coupled with the exploration and the excitement...nay; sheer joy of finding new power-ups, suits, weapons, etc. would be outstanding. My only complaint about Other M, is that it ended kind of quickly.
I got as far as Metroid for NES, Super Metroid for SNES, and Metroid:Fusion for GBA. Loved them all. I really like the Prime series and I still play them, it's just I play the others more. :)
Yeah...I liked Other M. Call me crazy, but I liked it. I played it more than any of the Prime series.
That Colossus bust is outstanding, as is the rest of this body of work. The fine art listings never disappoint!
I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that this trailer gives the game an Inception-like aesthetic. While the story is probably not as complex and rich as Nolan's masterpiece, the Devil May Cry series has always been near and dear to my nerdy little heart, so I can dig it.
If they based the character and make-up design for a new TMNT movie on this guy's ideas, I would start a cult dedicated to his artwork. For that matter, if they did that for any one of the IP's above!!
Haters gonna... make some good points -but! I still think it's a step in the right direction. Bring on the Z28, and trim some of the fat.
Moon Knight bringing me back to the good old Marvel Comics Presents days. It was a title that featured 3 different stories, usually one featuring a marquis character in a starring role, then 2 lesser known character storylines.
Very subtle, but noticable differences. The crispness is definitely progressive in this series of photos, yet I'll never get to see the "ultra" settings on a PC, as that would necessitate me selling a testicle, eyeball, or other major organ. :] I'll have to manage with the 360 version.
It's definitely cool when music helps add to the atmosphere and overall texture of the game. Furthermore, details like these, insignificant as they may seem to some, are what separate the truly memorable titles from lower rung releases. I'm not just saying that because I'm a music teacher, either. :]
I'm going to wait for the NEW Testament Skyrim Collector's Edition Strategy Guide. Old Testament is so "holy land". Seriously, that thing looks like the DSM-IV on steroids.
Egad. You are a bullet-dodging marvel, my friend. Best of luck to you.
Dude. Right there with you on this one. You gotta do it, though. That game is so rad.
I have an irrational fear of sharks and deep water. The museum in Arkham City gave me a quasi-nauseus feeling. Who the hell does something like that... a fiend I tell you! A true fiend!!
Excellent piece. I can truly appreciate the bond that these two brothers share, yet can only imagine the way it must feel to lose someone you are that close to. Articles and stories like this remind us why it is such a privilege to be human and alive.
I like the single player campaign as well. I guess I'm a poor sap. :] Oh, and the game is running slicker than a sack of snakeshit on my 360. I installed the game and the optimizer, to boot. I guess I'm easily pleased; either way I'm enjoying the hell out of it!
Catholic girls... with a tiny little mustache....
Truthfully, this young man could have been a happy-go-lucky kid with two great parents. In all likelihood, however, that isn't the case like you said. I don't think we realize that everyday we straddle a fine line between normalcy and insanity. Events that trigger psychotic breaks needn't be severely traumatic in the…
If I can tear myself away from World Tour mode in Forza 4, I'm going to try and start Arkham City tonight after my last student. Definitely stoked to continue the story!
