I would say replace Civil War with High-Rise. Civil War was a mess. Great performances marred by an increasingly forced and hard to buy narrative, plus wonky cinematography on the action scenes.

Right, this is a point; the new Star Wars film shouldn’t really have a full critique in the New Yorker. It should be one of those fly by blurbs, of like 100 words.

It is really, really freaking annoying how many people are using this as an example of ‘crazy government misspending.’ Yes, they should damn well get their heads out of their arises and stop ‘austerity’. But they should also stop our historic landmarks from catching fire!
