Twitter says, Room 509 College Park ASAP

No kidding! Even my mom, who is totally a norm core mom took my sister, who was about 12 or 13, in the early 2000s to a piercing place when she wanted to get her lobes pierced. We were living in Ottawa so they went to somewhere in the Byword Market that was clean and was suggested by one of my cousins.

I did like when Amy and Rory were on the Tardis together (other than the Melody Pond bullshit). I thought they made a good trio.

In our family we use Auntie/Uncle and Cousin as just general terms of kinship, and don't get too fussed on what degree or level of removal we are. Makes life much easier!

I do pretty well in Canada, but mostly because out of unfailing politeness I've never been prostelyzed at or judged for my mom religiousness. Also, my guards are extra high after being, what felt like, the only agnostic/atheist kid in my middle school of 2,000 kids, in Texas, in the late 90's.

I have a somewhat surly orange cat who is always happy to snuggle up on bra-less boobs, he is always available when my bra is on.

So, I finally watched Catching Fire a few nights ago, and now that its been a couple years since I read the books, I might actually be able to enjoy these last two movies ... well "enjoy" is a relative term.

Yes it does, and has been aired on CTV since it first came on the air in 1999. I started watching it in high school on an old set of rabbit ears cause I lived in the country and we didn't have access to cable.

Jack says why work when you can relax!

I use mine to dry handspun yarn and knitting projects after washing, y'know like a rockstar. I've never used it for salad.

Very cool! I liked how it showed the rest of Canada how pretty (and not always winter) the capital N, North is.

For another example of updated throat singing check out Tanya Tagaq's performance of the theme song from Arctic Air.

I think much like everyone has a Doctor (Who), everyone has a Captain, and mind is Janeway. You are very much in good company.

I know that when Twizzlers were advertised in Warehouse 13 (Myka was eating them constantly for like 4 episodes in Season 2) I always want them. And I hate myself for wanting Twizzlers because of TV.

I still have a stash of X-Files fanfic on my laptop that I read through when I'm feeling nostalgic. I was in high school and NC-17 fanfic was my first exposure to erotica, so all the pervy X-Philes out there who were publishing circa 1999-2003 still have my love.

Yes, and its terrifying! I low my grandparents have bought it by accident on a few occasions, but now stick to Chapmans as it is the least expensive real ice cream (and it comes in a cardboard carton, which is just so Canadian to me).

I love it when cats fall off of stuff and then scurry off like it was their plan the whole time, its such a 'cat' thing.

I was living at King's College in a basement rooms in an 1800s stone building, I think it was one of the safest places in Halifax. Glad you got through it okay, my roommates parents lived in Lunenberg, and they were fine, just had to get out the plows to get the seaweed off the road from the storm surge.

Yikes! I went through Hurricane Juan in Halifax when I was in my first year of university. Living in Northern Ontario now and very glad that the odds of me having another hurricane is very, very slim.
