I'm a really private person and I find public proposals so uncomfortable I can't even watch the videos.

Shows like this would have given me serious anxiety as a teen, who was heavier (but not yet overweight) and ate a nutritious diet, didn't drink soda and played sports (field hockey and rugby) and was involved in Irish Dance (which is basically aerobics set to Irish music) while dealing with thyroid issues (first hyper…
Yep they did, but like 90% of Cosmo's sex tips involve food.
I was at Queen's when he was the commencement speaker at Western and everyone freaked the fuck out and he wouldn't back down ... yeah I'm glad we still have the original challengers still standing and vocal in our society.
I got the sense that Amy was punishing herself for her infertility by pushing Rory away, not doubting Rory's ability to love her. She knows Rory would always love her (fertile or infertile) and if he does lover her she doesn't get to punish herself for what happened on Demon's Run and River's fate.
It's as much about Charles and the Lear that makes me not enjoy it as much. It is very true, the frenells like is pure gold. Also I love Republic of Doyle so I squee every time I watch it and see Jake Doyle (Allan Hawco) interview for the Artistic Director position.
Seriously agree! That show is one of my all time favorites, I caved and and bought the DVDs (cause it was no where legal online) and not two weeks later is shows up on Netflix.
I'm not familiar with Danny Michel but I will check him out when I get home. Another person I forgot was David Myles, who I absolutely adore.
She really is, Mummer's Dance still haunts me to this day. And also she is from Stratford, so hopefully the force of her and the Stratford Festival can wipe out the scourge that is Justin Bieber (who once said he was the only good thing to come out of Stratford).
A friend of mine grew up in Newfoundland and apparently knows Alan Doyle really well, as well as the guys who create and act on Republic of Doyle.
She really is amazing, I've loved her since the early days since she graduated from my HS (a few years before me) but our History teacher loved her and always told us about her and her gigs (the teachers used to go watch her play).
The cat I grew up with had only one eye, I must admit I thought two-eyed cats looked very strange for a good portion of my childhood/young adulthood.
Nice!
There are about a million others I thought of after pressing submit, there is so much good music up here! And thanks to the CBC and CanCon rules it can really flourish.
Not to add insult to injury, but for the most part we keep the really good ones for ourselves (or let them slip out from time to time) like Sarah Harmer, Joel Plaskett, K'Naan, Tegan & Sarah, Feist, Arcade Fire, Stars, Kathleen Edwards, Classified, Buck 65, Loreena McKennitt, Great Big Sea, Tragically Hip and so many…
I was in grad school and self-insuring was a better deal than going through the school, mine was pretty cheap, $100 a month but a $10,000 deductable.
Agreed, I live in Parry Sound (north of Toronto) and we don't even have a Loblaws/Superstore/Your Independent Grocier, but thankfully we do have a Wal-Mart (I kid) and a Sobey's.
Very true, however you can't even mail order that stuff into Canada, well not without paying a whole bunch of duty on them.
For us it is HST, which is the Harmonized Sales Tax and is a combination of the GST (Goods & Services Tax applied by the Feds) and PST (Provincial Sales Tax).
Yep, the Conservatives dropped the GST by 2% a few years back and then in July 2010 we got the GST/PST merged into HST and now it is on all the things that GST used to apply to, so now all services (haircuts, laywers) have to charge HST instead of just GST, that raised the prices on quite a few things.
