My Dad, who is a really savvy buyer, nearly got taken in by a time-share salesman at one point. He rethought while he was going to get his checkbook (he had deliberately not brought it with him to the pitch).
I did grad studies in Community Planning and it was like 90% group projects (although sometimes it was teams of two which worked well). These groups never made me feel dumb, they did over make me feel sad, frustrated, punch drunk and murderous.
In school we called #3 the "terrorist cell" approach, "engineer" seems like an apt term as well.
That plotline (no, Uncle Lucius) was messed up, but that line (and gif) are just amazing!
Agreed! I swear even properly sized dress shirts are one "breathless" moment away from busting open. Thankfully I work in recreational trail management and I don't have to wear suits or dress shirts and fleeces sized so they can zip all the way up if need be.
I was in Toronto this weekend and I am glad none of this happened there, because I really enjoyed my trip on the TTC, particularly when we got on one of the new trains that you can see all the way down.
I have been buying myself top-notch kitchen stuff for years, I haven't "given up" on getting married (no relationships right now), but damn it I want the good stuff right now! I haven't splurged yet on a stand mixer, mostly because I move so often and they are really quite heavy.

To me she looks more like her Lady Heather character from CSI, but I think it is the eye makeup and the expression that really seals it for me!
Ugh, I even meant Moffat, apparently my brain is wibbly-wobbly as well. I know Moffat didn't write the ep, but I doubt he didn't have a hand in each of the episodes.
I can't wait. I was planning on watching it tonight, but I have to go to public meetings instead, pout.
I totally preferred the first ep to the second, but Irene Adler was so freaking amazing. I totally guessed at her fate, but that last scene was just awesome. I loved the use of the text message sound.
Emma Stone looks great, but I keep thinking she is Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper from the OC) in that picture.
Drool. I haven't watched The Reichenbach Fall yet, but I need more Sherlock in my life. So thank you for the picture, I'll be in my bunk.
The Home Ec building on the original 40 Acres is such a neat building as it was designed to transition from the priviate (dorm) and public components of campus. I was in the School of Architecture and Sutton, Battle and Goldsmith were my buildings and the history of the architecture of those buildings is just…
