Considering what Tyra did after she and Landry dumped the body, I can't see her crying over ice cream. I miss first season FNL, I haven't finished season 4 yet, but two and three were not nearly as good as the first season, particularly the Tyra and Landry as outlaws plotline.

Very cool. I love Radiolab, they have such a great sense of sound. I would love to see Radiolab live, but alas I live in Northern Ontario.

For some reason Guides and Scouts of Canada let us (in Joint Council which were Senior Branches, Venturers and Rovers) play capture the flag, at night, in a forest.

I know, I haven't decided if I want to run the Customs gauntlet (knowing what I am sending is illegal) again this Christmas. But they are really good friends.

They are, apparently the toy constitutes a choking hazard. I however, didn't know this when I sent my former housemates in Texas a big box of Kindersurprise (including the gigantic Christmas sized ones) as a graduation/Christmas present in December.

I have run across a few infrequent-stir risottos and they were fantastic!

To address your general question, the health care in Ontario (where I live) is limited generally by time rather than money.

From Faith, SD it is 600+ miles to Winnipeg or Regina (the nearest cities to South Dakota). While abortion is fully legal here, it is not available every small town.

I have no idea, the last time we had a big change was when Elizabeth came to power, but based on how often you see different versions of the Queen (she has had 4 different portraits over her 50 year reign) the coins last much longer than the bills. I looked in my change purse and I had half the coins with her 65-89

There was some discussion when the twonie was released what it would be called, one of the suggestions was the doubloonie (ie. double loonie), but was pronounced like dubloon-ie, which is all kind of awesome, but we went with twonie instead.

Spoons, the answer is always spoons.

The other thing about that is, that I am a dual American/Canadian citizen who has never felt truly at home in either country (when I was in the US I was "the Canadian" and when I was back in Canada I was "the American"), but I really do like Canadian money more. The fact that bills are differently colored is both fun

He totally did, that is how I even heard about it.

Yep, but it's not like they recall all the money and reprint it, but the new bills change design and over time it shifts. Just like how every once and a while they update the portrait of the Queen.

Crappy dudes are crappy.

I am all for the Queen living forever, mostly because I don't like that we are going to have a dude on our money (particularly if it is William, I had a crush on that guy when I was in middle school). Using his face to pay for stuff just seems wrong, and I like having money with a woman on it, makes me feel less

So as a girl who (at age 6 or so) asked to have her toenails painted so she could be like her mom, aunties and cousins, ran into the lake, looked at her toenails in the water and started screaming to have it removed (I didn't stop until it was off), I am firmly in the "whatever works for you" camp.

Everytime I hear about what a douche George Stephanopoulos is, I am glad I am a Canadian because we have George Stroumboulopoulos instead!

I am not a caffeine person, my friends in grad school used to think it was hilarious how I was able to get wired off a reasonable sized iced tea.

This nearly always applies to these science/news stories.
