Finally caught up with the show and finished it a couple of days ago. Yep, without giving away spoilers, I agree with what most people here have said. Smith and Tagomi are the best things about the show.

It means Have a Happy New Year.
I just got back from seeing it a second time, and I'm leaning towards liking it much more than The Force Awakens. The flaws really started to become more obvious the more I saw TFA, so I'm not sure I'll feel the same way about Rogue One the more I watch it.
Don't worry, that doesn't include me either. Just the really good ones…
Happy New Years to the best damn online commentators on the internet! I'll probably be in bed by 10 because I'm old, so maybe wake me up in 4 years.
True, and that I understand. This year has been particularly shitty beyond the celebrity deaths that we typically focus on. But the meme is rather glib when you consider the real impact the year has had on people. I know being glib and sarcastic is how a lot of us cope. Hey, that's why we are a special breed on the AV…
Obligatory comment about going back in time to stop Lucas from doing the prequels.
I really hate the "2016" meme. I understand it, but it rubs me the wrong way. Do we have to turn everything into a meme? But news like this really tests my ability to not say "Fuck 2016!"
I think of all of the deaths of all of the iconic pop culture figures this year, hers is the one that hits me the hardest. I loved Bowie and Prince, but Princess Leia was a character that affected my life from an early age and still does to this day. And the fact that Carrie Fisher seemed like such a wonderful person…
She knew.
Is that you, Bill Clay?
I did the same thing too. Dear god what a shit hole. Hold me, AV Club. You're my only hope.
"Passengers?" More like I'm going to "Pass" on this!
I teach in a really diverse school, and I know several young African American girls who are excited about a film that shows that they can be leaders in a field they are typically not associated with. I know it doesn't make the film any better, but it's not just middle class whites that this movie is aimed at. Agree…
I've seen trailers you people wouldn't believe. X-Wings on fire off the shoulder of Starkiller Base. I watched heat ray vision beams glitter in the dark near Metropolis. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
Ah fuck.
Yeah. It's like the tides. You can't explain it!
The Musical!
Inconvenient Truth 2: Truth Harder.
So I'm guessing a modern version of these could just be a picture of Trump with the caption "Merry Christmas, everyone."
