Finally caught up with the show and finished it a couple of days ago. Yep, without giving away spoilers, I agree with what most people here have said. Smith and Tagomi are the best things about the show.

I just got back from seeing it a second time, and I'm leaning towards liking it much more than The Force Awakens. The flaws really started to become more obvious the more I saw TFA, so I'm not sure I'll feel the same way about Rogue One the more I watch it.
