Aha! I thought I had seen this somewhere before! *sigh* Typical Gizmodo. Are they getting worse or have they always been like this?

Those “questionable” keys also carry another big caveat: They may (some are) very well be unused legit OEM keys/stickers from PCs that were replaced with a company image, etc. However, you could be installing them in a different country or different PC brand from where they were intended to be used. If Microsoft ever…
I’m curious, if your account is set to time out or “always require authentication for purchases,” how this could emulate your authentication. Is there some key logger built in to snag your password (I almost never buy anything on the Play Store anyway)? I can’t think of another way this would (could?) even work.
Some developers I know will often contract with third party ad software companies to do the work for them, and just include a module in their app without rewriting code for it. Sometimes you can see this in the corners of popups with lines like “Ads by AdplexCo“ etc. I don’t see anything inherently wrong with this on…
I switched to Lens a while back. It seems simpler, and is free/cheaper for cloud storage quotas. It’s not quite as configurable, but the initial images are easier to focus, and the “on-the-fly” flattening (you can disable too if you want), did it for me. Cam Scanner’s backup methods, and attempts to monetize its…
I wondered about this, and so I contacted AIT directly. As expected, I got a response less than 2 hours later:
Hourly?
Anyone want to wager on what next weekend’s apps will be? lol
Sad really. I’ve been a fan of A.I. type for years, (former refugee from when Swiftkey sold its soul and went into the trash). I looked at others a few times (even SK again), but nothing came close. I was part of the beta. Their customer service has been some of the fastest (and most relevant) I have ever seen. They…
Legally, I don’t think they have any recourse, even if they send him a cease-and-desist letter. Once he leaves the store (not even the state) they are his to do with as he pleases. Tweets and comments all over the place support him in this decision. It’s no worse than buying stuff to sell lemonade, or food items from…
Dark… shady... I see what you did there.
Dark period/phase, eh? Can you shed some more light on this (or try to)?
If this has anything to do with what I have read about the history of “Lost” itselfand even more about Tim, this eeriness seems to be nothing new. That CAD continues to slowly (d)evolve from just a web comic into monetized webcomic (hey, I get it...you gotta make a buck somehow), bears this out. Ugh.
According to a news article I was watching, The Impossible Whopper is NOT soy free. They had to tweak the formula to make it more like the beef Whopper. This was pre-release, however and may have changed… so ask anyway to be safe :)
Thank you. Someone somewhere likely has an allergy or sensitivity to <insert just about any food here>, but I won’t criticize for it. I am sure avoiding foods you love is suffering enough. Epipens aren’t cheap.
Original cheezits don’t have MSG or other -mate additives, AFAIK. The “cheddar” et. al. do…
Same. And I am also hypoglycemic as well. Make no mistake: I do miss my Doritos and Cheetos… but the processed snacks themselves are probably as bad for us as individual ingredients.
Most of us don’t. We in the West (okay, not just the Western world) have a penchant for confusing fact and opinion…been doing it for centuries...along with using comments to (attempt to) hijack informative articles like this one.
Thanks, though this isn’t exactly news… Pickle juice is an alternative to the MSG they have long been using. And also a welcome alternative for people like me who get quite sick on the stuff. CFA’s own website has a “Sunday recipe” with a close approximation, reverse engineered by a “sanctioned” chef.
This is actually a brilliant idea.
