I think it comes down to time. If you have too many vehicles that you don’t have time to work on them, what is the point of owning them? If your goal is to fix up old Jeeps, then you should limit how many you own so you can have the time and money necessary to perform the upgrades you want to do.

The problem with a hybrid pick up using that concept is that the hybrid truck will cost more than a non-hybrid and a small gas generator, which can do the same things.

That is not the purpose of RTW laws. The purpose is that employees, or prospective employees, are not forced to join a union in order to be co side red for a job. Union can still have value in certain situations, but not all unions have as much value as they did decades ago before OSHA and similar state agencies.

Motorcycles are not for everyone. They are inherently less safe. People who are uncomfortable with the idea of riding them, or have no interest, just shouldn’t ride them. I would say if you had a desire, then try better fitting bikes, but as it sounds, just don’t bother.

Yeah I totally agree. I went looking at AutoTrader and saw ads for them at $18,015 from an MSRP of $26k. I thought “hell, $18k with $5k cash back sounds amazing” ... except that is the lease price and the cash back only comes off MSRP for a purchase. Screw that! I’d buy one for $13k, but not for $21k.

Based on this article on the cash back I went and looked. I was super excited to see some listed for $18,015 on AutoTrader showing the deal for $5,000 cash back and 0% financing! However, upon speaking with a couple of dealers, the listed price is for a lease and not eligible as purchase price. Therefore not eligible…

I have done a lot of cross country moves and other big road trips in cars and on motorcycles. If it is a straight “I have to get there” type of road trip then I just have a mix of Sirius, podcasts and audiobooks to keep me entertained. I’ll try and prep some road snacks in a cooler as well so I’m not eating total…

Completely anecdotal, but I really think diesel was growing in market share and “proving” it could have some performance with great fuel economy. But they had to go and screw it up. Blaming “Americans” is like blaming the victim.

I don’t agree that getting TSA precheck is skipping security. If you have passed a background check then chances of you being shady are quite a bit lower.
