I am amazed nobody in Hollywood has made a biopic about Jim Thorpe. I mean, the man is a legend and led an amazing life filled with triumphs & terrible lows. This the kind of story that makes studios salivate.

every time i hear his name the first thing that comes to mind is that picture of him laid out on the court, with that look of pain and confusion on his face as two people hold him. It's a brutal, brutal memory.
I got a chill hearing the fans chant his name as he lay on the pitch. Pure class in the face of something so horrible. Sadly we live in a day an age when we are used to reading about sports fans acting like jackasses, it is refreshing to see such class and solidarity during a horrible situation.
As a Mexican I'm just appalled, he could have found any of the drugs he was on readily available after he signed with the team.

Just wow. If he is the guy, take her Grammys away. If you knowingly and willingly date a guy who looks like if a Mariachi and a Krusty the Clown had a baby that had sever oxygen deprivation at delivery...you deserve everything bad that ever happened to you in a relationship.
Actually, what she said about the Welker was caught on camera. Granted, she had to walk through a crowd heckling her about the loss, and she obviously was frustrated.
Taping a defense and picking up it's traits it's perfectly normal, every team does it. What the Pats were doing was taping the hand signals the coaches do to send in the play, so they would know specifically what play was being called. That's considered cheating.
I guess a prayer like:
that's just greedy.
I wonder what happened to that college female sports reporter who sent a letter about how Ines Sainz made her want to quit being a sports reporter? I'm going to say rage induced stroke after she found out Sainz still looks like that despite squeezing out 3 kids.
He'd probably be rejected because sadly he made his own money, not pillaged it from some developing countries football federation.
+1 sadly it was Landon Donvan.
Somewhere, Julie Foudy is taking an ambien and hoping nobody calls to ask about her mouthing off about how she didn't want the MLS piggybacking on the success and popularity of woman's soccer when the last unsuccessful pro woman's league rejected a partnership with the MLS.
+1
when i die i want to be eulogized by a guy who got rich off slave labor in South East Asia too!
