If true, that’s insane! At his level those strings shouldn’t last an hour. That means he’s using a new racquet every hour he plays tennis in his life?!

And the nicest racquet breaks!

I don’t disagree with the issues you’ve brought up and if someone were to come to Japan looking to be a tourist, golden week can definitely be a headache. But if you’ve already done the touristy things in Japan and want to experience some local activities like festivals with great food, drinks, and music - golden

While I generally agree with you, unfortunately Hawaii would like to argue that these days. Anything under $58,600 for a single person is now considered low income because of the cost of living.

True. Watch out if they do a complete overhaul and there is a new version though. It usually takes years to achieve the performance and consistency of the old version and sometimes you need to scrap the whole thing.

I remember tennis announcers saying on multiple occasions that Nadal had better hands at the net than Federer - which they attributed to Nadal’s participation in more doubles matches (though that was a while back and Federer has improved his net game). I think Nadal has been known for a while to be very good at the

I thought so as well being a native English language speaker trying to learn Japanese. But after spending time helping Japanese friends with their English, I realized that English often makes no sense at all either. Each language basically feels like anti of the other language I think =/. That being said, good luck

I’m from Hawaii so I’ve used Hawaiian a lot. Still prefer the customer service on Asian carriers but Hawaiian would be my next choice before other domestics. Like Hawaii, it’s a kind of a blend of the two.

After using domestic airlines all my life, I felt like royalty the first time I flew internationally on an Asian airline. I had no idea flying could be such a pleasant experience before that.

Yes. Those horrid civil wars going on in Japan, South Korea, Italy, Netherlands, Canada, Australia...

This is pretty spot on. Coming from the US I found it unusual to wear those masks as well, but I do on occasion now. People are much more often in confined spaces with a lot more people than you would typically find in the US. Trains are the primary way of commuting and can get filled to the point of needing

Seriously. I don’t know if it specifies what joints and cuts he can have, but if not he could easily eat thousands of dollars a day in sushi.

Agreed. Looks like he actually got a laugh out of it (which I guess is one of the better ways to lose?) trying to explain that it was to two.

I forgot Taj wasn’t a Bull anymore until a second into this clip. Argh the feels!

I think it often depends on timing in the match. If you are early on in a match or in a close one, a solid passing shot on an opponent looking to come in and impose their will on you is huge and can totally dictate strategy for the rest of the match. Lobs can have a similar effect but you hardly see good ones in rec

Not going to lie... after all that’s been happening I was expecting a more cynical article here. Thanks for giving me something uplifting to read!

But can you literally not tell?

I’m from Hawaii... have to star...

I went a couple times this past month. It was only more crowded in the evenings by Odaiba beach where it’s pretty much guaranteed a Lapras will spawn at least once an evening. The crowd there will only move away if a Lapras spawns somewhere else which isn’t very common (though the stampede is pretty nuts). In
