It’s not at all black and white. It’s certainly theft, but whether it is wrong is certainly open to debate. The circumstances are such that legitimately purchasing said product on the retail market is next to impossible, putting it in a similar category to products that are out of print. If you can’t actually pay the

At a much higher price. Which is kind of the point here. The people buying these things have no interest in the figurine, but want the DLC. I agree that it is still illegal, but I’m not shedding too many tears for Nintendo here. The entire concept of tying digital downloads to a physical object is bullshit to

Personally, I’m totally fine with this practice. To hell with amiibo as collectible figurines. They represent a costly roadblock between the player and content that should either be contained on the disc or cart. at the time of purchase or kept on a digital shop that can NEVER run out of stock. I’m fine with paying

If I was giving advice, I’d suggest you be wary of saving sympathy for corporations in general.

Tying DLC or in-game content to expensive collectible statues was a mistake in the first place. Reasonably priced game content should always have been for sale digitally for those who wanted it, without requiring the purchase of a type of item only certain fans would otherwise be interested in.

Putting in-game content behind the wall of a limited-availability physical product is one of the most absolute shittiest things Nintendo has done to their fanbase.

Tying DLC (Downloadable Content!) to a scarce physical medium has always been, and will always be bullshit. I thought about getting some for BotW, but balked at the mark up and lack of availability. Give me a way to buy digital content digitally Nintendo!

I always get yelled at by PS4/XBox loyalist when I say this but I think Nintendo has demonstrated for a long time that their greatest strength has always been knowing what the consumer wants next before the consumer knows they want it. I thought the Wiimote was stupid until I used it and now Wiimote plus nunchuck is

“I have a group of freinds and we drink, play smash, and just chill every Friday”

The WiiU was worth it for me after playing Bayonetta 1&2 (never played them before) and once I got Smash.
I have a group of freinds and we drink, play smash, and just chill every Friday.
Can’t wait for a remake/next release for the Switch.

It is def my taste in games yeah, but you just listed the same number of ps4 games as the other dude did for WiiU exclusives.

I was looking into that last night. I have a pro controller on the way, so I think I’m going to wait until that arrives and then send it off.

Contact Nintendo, they recently stated they would repair faulty left Joy con since they figured out what the problem was.

I kinda surprised that anyone is surprised by how much they enjoy the Switch. It is the simpliest thing Nintendo has released since the Gamecube, and Nintendo releases a game that would easily qualify for Top 3 of the Year annually.

“and we’re still waiting for some really cool additional third-party peripherals the Nintendo Switch to hit stores”

When I was a younger spinster I had this type of encounter at a party:

First man that grabs my pussy will hAve to seek medical attention in order to retrieve his balls from his throat, which is where their final resting place will be from me kicking them so hard.

Red and Blue are definitely harder

Shit.

No, not yet. GAME FREAK has expressed interest in continuing to remake older games, but nothing is announced as of now.

If you at past trends, remakes are based on leaps in hardware technology and not by the generations themselves. That’s why they waited until the 3DS to do ORAS— GBA -> DS wasn’t a big enough leap to
