I’d say that Princess Monoke is the best place to start with anime. Possibly because this is where I started (I guess besides some DBZ before school), but it is a movie so very little commitment, fairly simple but interesting story, great animation and the dub is good and has a fair amount of well known Hollywood

I wonder who designed them...

It is not a port of this game. David Sirlin’s rebalance was totally thrown out, as was the community-based soundtrack and GGPO netcode. The only thing used from HD Remix was the sprite art.

Ah no, it’s the best version by far. I play it all the time. Reviews just talking smack over price for an old game.

I’d hate to see how you feel about picking ice cream flavors. I have a feeling genocide might come up.

Everyday I read more and more reasons to buy a switch here on Kotaku.
Great article.

“Great artists aren’t always appreciated in their own time”. -Animal Crossing New Leaf description of the Wii U.

oh boy that would have been PERFECT.

I’ve come down with a rather bad case of this. I take Zelda for this at the moment, but I’m concerned when my prescription runs out.

Switch Syndrome: when you struggle to find motivation to play a game, because the copy you own is on a home console/PC, when deep down you’d rather be playing it on the Switch instead.

Fucking awesome. I love reading these types of stories, because I love the Switch and there’s no way it would succeed if it had the sort of negative coverage its predecessor got. Good on Nintendo for coming up with a quirky/unique system that, at least for the time being, seems to be a hit.

Not to take away the glory of the Switch, but I feel like the 3DS doesn’t get nearly enough love as a travel buddy since the Switch came out. The 3DS has a phenomenal library. *pours one out for the 3DS*

Nintendo may have made it needlessly confusing with the naming scheme and peripherals, but I think people like to shit on the Wii U a lot more than it deserves. I mean, it can play physical games from over three generations of consoles not to mention basically all of Nindendo’s backlog.

Yeah, I’m on middle grounds here; I appreciate that they’re still releasing at least VC games on Wii U for those that got screwed over by Nintendo’s antics, but at the same time, I wish they’d allocate that time to titles more worth it than Turbografx-16 games.

Wow, it really feels like they took the sense of freedom and wonder from Breath of the Wild, turned it sideways, and decided to apply it to Mario. This looks awesome.

I guess Nintendo really threw their hat into the ring at this E3.

Also, you can play as a dinosaur.

Normally I roll my eyes when people complain about “entitlement”, but damn. A new 3D Metroid on the Switch and a new (-ish) 2D Metroid on the 3DS, and you still find a way to complain. Fucking hell.

These were in development for a while, but I totally get the need to hear more about Switch JRPGs. The new SMT is a great start.

Yeah personally, none of those interest me in the slightest. RPG Maker I was thinking about.
