I think I’ll have to stick with my initial selection of Moon, even though some of the Sun exclusives look pretty awesome, too. Still, I can’t pass up Iceshrew and what looks like an Archaeopteryx. Also that shield-dinosaur thing, ha. And is that Falcor I see next to Oranguru?

It’s going to be Moon for me. I work over night so having the 12 hour difference and playing during the day will be great. On top of that Moon Legendary and the exclusives I like more than Sun’s list (not that Sun has a bad list). The other reason is kinda weird but I have always been fascinated by the Moon’s

In my experience, with so many games out there and increasingly little time to play them all, unexpected gift games that fall outside the norm, that might be a slightly risky use of one’s gaming hours, tend to languish untouched for all eternity.

It depends on this kind of game you want it to be. If you want an adventure game that lets you explore an vast universe, pass.

id like to add a few that exceeded my expectations on steam for cheap as fuck last year: deadlight, guacamelee, hell yeah!, mark of the ninja, mercenary kings, a story about my uncle and tiny and big: grandpas leftovers as some amazing recent platformers that you can find on like mmoga or g2a or just a steam sale for

In order to avoid the stress of the holidays, as my gift this year I’ve asked everyone to agree not to buy me gifts, and I won’t buy them gifts, and we can avoid the gift-giving bullshit entirely. Now I don’t need to stress out for two months trying to make sure I got gifts for everyone just to end up with a bunch of

Darkest Dungeon is a bit niche as to who you can give it to, as they have to be borderline the kind of people who play hardcore/ironman in games to get the mentality of sometimes you lose.

And in today’s, ‘Bad reading comprehension before morning coffee segment’ Caralinga read Poey’s comment about how he bought a 3DS at Target then had to return it because a Pirate had previously stolen it’s data completely wrong.

Clarifying that I unknowingly purchased a system that was bricked, returned to the store, put back on the shelf which I was able to rectify.

nah, they know they will just go buy another 3ds despite the bitching.

They’ve already shown a willingness to pirate/steal. There’s not much point about worrying over lost sales from people who may very well have just pirated the new stuff anyway.

The way I see it, it’s being used as a warning sign by Nintendo in case of future leaks: pirate our games and your device will turn into an expensive paperweight. No doubt it’s a harsh consequence but it’s easier for them to be harsh at first and immediately stop future pirates from trying anything else.

Ha thanks. I thought I was pretty clear but damn.

No, they bought a DS someone else bricked.

I’m sorry for all the people who fail to understand you were the victim of someone else doing this.

I think you’ve misunderstood. I read that as he purchased a console that previously been banned by a pirate.

It’s more like Nintendo cutting off it’s own leg because it’s gangrenous and can’t be saved. I’m sure Nintendo looked at this as a way to get rid of all the questionable people that are willing to do illegal things like this.

You might want to read first. They were a victim of someone else doing this. They ended up buying the bricked 3DS.

Yeah. It doesn’t really bother me if people want to try to pirate - as far as crimes go, it’s almost harmless - but don’t get all bent out of shape when there are repercussions. You took something that doesn’t belong to you, it’s not really more complicated than that.

Some players are suggesting, for example, to acquire a legit 3DS by purchasing one, extracting its information and injecting it into the banned 3DS, and then returning the new 3DS to retailers—potentially fucking over whoever goes on to buy that system in the future.
