I, like many people, live in a country that doesn't have subsidized phones. You pay in full; and the amount of iphones I see is staggering.
I said "hundreds of thousands of apple watches and apple watch editions", the implication being that they'd sell many, many more apple watch sports...

I really hoped they'd make an announcement on that! I want one, I really like the black steel one, but I don't want to cash out a 1000 euro's on a black steel watch if the insides aren't swappable a couple of years hence. Since there was no announcement, I'll be getting a cheaper one :(

You're assuming a 2,4 oz gold case is worth just the price of the gold, it's not; you have to turn the raw gold into the shape of the case, and that in itself costs quite a bit. Not saying there isn't a huge parkup, but the case would be way more than just 3000 based on the gold alone...

If they sell tens of thousands of apple watch editions, hundreds of thousands of apple watches and millions of apple watch sports, then it won't be a flop, it'll be a success.

My boyfriend needs a computer to be portable, and to be able to access the internet and do some blogging. He hasn't used usb for anything since setting up his iphone and hasn't used his disc drive in... I think ever... He now has a macbook, but this thing may be exactly what he's looking for, and he won't give a damn

there's hundreds of thousands rich guys who use an iphone as a status symbol, they will buy the apple watch edition and apple watch. The average iPhone user also didn't spend $600-900 on a phone before the iphone, yet now they do...

This macbook, while beautiful, isn't for me, I'll stick with the macbook pro in the forseeable future. I am, however, quite happy they release a laptop with so few ports. The reason being history: when Apple released the original iMac without floppy drive, the move was considered questionable at best, when they

what planet have you lived on that 500-1000 for a watch is somehow weird? Watches are luxury products, go to any specialised watch store and check the prices.

That's just basic diminishing of returns principle: imagine that you can construct a computer chip that performs well, costs will rise exponentially to create chips that perform better, better, better. Linear progression in chip performance will go along with exponential growth in cost. That's the case for everything

"they don't last longer, they simply don't" => repeating something doesn't make it true (though it makes it sound more true). Pcmagazine had a sample of some 63000 pc owners and apple came out on top of reliability. That's not anecdotal evidence, that's quite a big sample size.

please please please if someone has to die make it him :p

Maybe I have bad taste but I've never liked his acting, don't know why, I'm just never convinced; for some reasons his character always seems shallow. Compare that to Marc Ruffalo and I always have the feeling of a very layered character... Preferences probably

The study claims that 2.28 per cent of the male population have an abnormally small penis and 2.28 per cent have an unusually large one. Here, 'abnormal' was classified as 2 standard deviations above or below the mean.

Well, on almost all iphone or ipad demo units in stores there's a touchID demo app that lets you register your fingerprint and then test how well it recognizes your finger without actually storing your fingerprint (as soon as you close the app, the fingerprint is deleted again). You can try it out, as I said: right

i told the story first, if they make it into a movie I get to sell the rights!

really? How often have you used touchID? I was disappointed at first but after my iPhone got replaced it works like a breeze. I love it and it barely ever misreads my print...

7 years of homework a night? How stupid were you that it took you 7 hours a night? Getting an advanced degree is easy but I can't for the life of me imagine how someone who takes 7 hours to do homework as a teenager ever finds the time to get an advanced degree...

so your kids can't go on wifi-networks with their phones anyware, can they?

I guess they're saying the exact same thing about you though. And I can't help but wonder who's the most realistic.
