Now that most flagship-phones are awesome in one respect or another (be it samsung, htc, microsoft, apple, or whatever your pick is) we can only choose based on trivial things...

There are genius teenagers... If your parents are just "normals" and you're uncomfortably intelligent, you can just play your parents, teachers etc like a fiddle. You're looked upon as a paragon, but basically live your life the way you want it...

Keep telling yourself that teenagers are DUMB, if they're anything like

hahaha this post needs to be used for every anti-apple or anti-samsung post out there :p More likes!

hurray for not turning this into a flame war :D

No, I'm arguing that the "Bad patents like patenting rounded rectangles?" has nothing whatsoever to do with this case.

you really don't know the difference between a design patent and an invention patent, do you?

how is Ericsson larger than Apple?

in all fairness Apple went to court first, the article fails to mention that a before the licensing deal ended Apple filed suit because they believe Ericsson wasn't treating them fairly during the negotiations. Wether that is or isn't true I don't know, but Apple did try to negotiate and Ericsson didn't exactly wait

what decrease in function have you experienced?

Yosemite was the best thing to happen to my ageing laptop since snow leopard, and my 4s still runs like à breeze under iOS 8 so yes i do.

correction: it'll work just fine but won't be getting any new hardware-dependent features anymore, causing half the nitwits on the internet to complain about "planned obsolescence" since they have no idea that that is not what it means.

hihi, you made me giggle :p

And the weather changes. Less gradual and less predictable, though, is a solar eclipse.

That's true of course, but I was responding to the scenario from the OP where he writes:

Dude, you ask a question, then get pissed off at every answer. Design is a personal thing, if you love your Samsung, good for you. Most people seem to agree that HTC, Nokia (windows) and apple happen to make better looking devices and if you pay the same price, it's nice to get a better-looking device. If you don't

So you really want a self driving car to stop self-driving if you go out of range of the network? Siri is networked on cellphones because of limitations of portable things (battery, storage). A self-driving car, like a desktop, needs to be able to drive completely severed from the network (even GPS outages should be

a couple of G4 mac mini's were enough to drive a car some years ago, there's absolutely no reason whatsoever to have a self-driving car rely on network availability, it doesn't make any sense to do so...

I'll have you know that despite my argument I'm fully aware that Apple's products indeed DO bend, my ipad mini 2 bent from normal use. So it's not all conspiracy, they could be sturdier, but I suppose a lot of thin devices from other manufacturers bend as well (as was also shown in several other bend tests)..
