The law has very little to do with “good and bad”; the law is about structuring society. It seems to me that you’re stuck in Kohlberg’s stage four of moral reasoning (conventional). Try to think over justifications of laws and maybe get to post-conventional stages. You’ll be a better person for it.

I don’t agree with that. I can’t count the amount of times people have asked me to explain it to them, but that’s how we get progress. Things don’t just magically change because the oppressed want it; they change through educating those who oppress. And it’s up to us to do that.
