It’s hard to think of this console generation as anything but a failure if you’re Sony, frankly. We’re approaching year 3 of the PS5 and they’ve still only moved about 20 million units. The Switch has moved about twice as many in that time. They’re being outsold by an underpowered machine that came out in 2017!
