*Shrug*

I’m a man and don’t want kids. Not going to apologize for that. The state of the economy, the world and everything makes me believe that having children right now is the worst possible thing you could do to that child.

But on top of that...I just don’t want any. I’m very upfront with this, and my ex-wife didn’t

So, just to sum up the comments section:

If a woman wants to be child-free, that is a bold an brave choice and she should be applauded for it.

If a man wants to be child-free, he is an unstable man-child afraid of commitment and responsibility.

That about sum it up?

“i comment out of my own experiences with my male partners, as well as what i’ve seen my female hetero friends go through at the hands of their male partners”

The plural of “anecdote” is not “data”.

The difference, for whatever reason, is that people still tuned in for the Bulls then (more accurately, they wanted to watch Michael). The second 3-peat viewership numbers for the Finals each year were between 25 - 29 million (the most-watched NBA finals of all-time were the 1998 finals with 29 million viewers).

So there’s literally no point to the NBA right now other than to hand trophies to Golden State, right?  Why would you even follow it right now if you’re a fan of literally any other team?

So how much longer do we figure GMG has? And Jez in particular?

Boomers, the most selfish generation in the history of America, have already destroyed the country. Millennials and the gen after are going to have to do the best they can to rebuild the thing.

Either line up to help or get out of the way.  Young people are tired of pretending the need to respect the previous

No one should be surprised by this. This is what we’ve enabled in the US. Man-children who think they’re smarter than they actually are because they see themselves as “edgy” or “speaking the truth” and the sycophants who eat up every piece of shit that comes out of their mouths because they’re frustrated in their own

I’ve tried to stay and fight, but I just can’t anymore. I’m getting out. I’ve begun the long process of immigrating to the UK. Sure, they have their own problems, but we’re in a totally different league over here. My wife and I should be gone by Spring of next year.

Our privilege is what’s going to allow us to do it (I

America was actually objectively shit for pretty much its entire run and I hope whatever rises from the ashes is better.

Nah, it’s ludicrous because the numbers are manipulated, but anyone versed in basic American economics understands this.

I’m just using the definition you yourself quoted:

Except it doesn’t work that way at all.

Capitalism is a ponzi scheme on its face. The number of jobs at the bottom will always, by necessity, be far, far greater than the number even one step above, and so on and so forth.

In reality, there will *never* be enough jobs that pay well because you can’t have all

“Unemployment is pretty damn low right now. “

“Unemployment” numbers are a manipulated set of nonsense that include jobs that don’t pay living wages and part time work.  It’s ludicrous to base an argument off of them.

The very definition you quoted fits the bill so I’m not sure what you’re on about.

Or hell, you can pay that as a *weekly* rate at extended-stay hotels.  Continental breakfast and all.

You’re never gonna get that anger management pin that way.

Good to see you’re still the literal Worst, Rich.

What Rich very conveniently leaves out (because he’s Rich) is that Roger’s even later advised Clemmons to enter into a stable gay relationship, and always welcomed Clemmons’ gay friends to the set.

I’m more forgiving of that aspect. We’re talking about not only a gay man, but a gay BLACK man in the 1960s. A man Rogers considered a friend, and was pretty clearly concerned about.

Clemmons was absolutely at risk of not only never working again, but losing his life if people found out about him. In the climate of the
