The soundtrack to Steamworld Heist specifically was done by the band Steam Powered Giraffe, who have a moderately sized discography of similar sounding work. Worth digging into if you're bored.

Echoing some of the other sentiments on this thread, I too quite like this. I don’t need another pro controller, and would much prefer an official wireless gamecube controller, but I like the stark design, and the relative lack of noisy branding. Plus I’m always a fan of keeping my video game accessories achromatic.

I backed this on Kickstarter, and have to echo your sentiments about the production quality: especially with the optional plastic buildings, mounted turreta, etc. it really looks and feels great.

Aside from the aesthetic (which is top notch), I don’t love it either. It seems a little too simple to me — and I don’t mean that games with easy mechanics are boring (Kingdomino is a suoerb “simple” game), but just that the decisions you’re making don’t seem to require much thought.
