The Canadian and 94+ models have conventional belts which can easily replace the passive belts. Also, the Supercharged XR-7 never received the digital dash you’re talking about.

Why lol?
The SC transmission has the Windsor bell housing. The TR-3650 out of an ‘05+ Mustang has a modular bell housing and the shifter is in the perfect location. Manual swaps on MN12s are easy now. I swapped mine.
Still my favorite XR-7. Great post.
Independent rear suspension, 5 speed manual, and a supercharger?
GM already built this car in a much more appealing form. Priced like a 5 series but sized like a 7 series was the RWD Cadillac STS. Its much better looking than this CT6 and is available with much better engines than both the I4 and the the V6. Why would anyone pay $70k for a car that’s worse? My dad bought this…
This just makes me want to confuse the (likely stupid) parking police at one of those places, by driving something like an Eagle Summit, Eagle Premier, Chrysler Conquest, or Plymouth Laser to a Chrysler lot. Driving a Merkur verhicle to the Ford lot, or perhaps a Suzuki Swift or Nummi vehicle to a GM lot. How long…
Sequential Multiport with full computer controls, in 1985.
I swapped an M5R2 into my 1989 Thunderbird. Involved complely removing the interior, fuel tank, exhaust, dashboard... Worth it though.
Grand Cherokee?
They’re basically selling a Buick.
Good point, I thought the 240 was out as the base engine by 1975, but apparently it lasted until 1977. I’ve seen many 300s, but never a 240 in a 73-77 truck. Probably as popular as the column shifted 3-speed in the 80-86....
Who remembers Jet Moto?
Good point I suppose, considering we’re between production.
They’re selling every Raptor they can build right now. Why not make an SUV version and call it a Bronco?
the idea goes, then poor people of all races will have more money; then something else will happen; then racism will not matter or be healed altogether.
