I laughed at Steve Saleen racing a Ford Ranger. They use close to stock engines in those trucks or how did they work?

R32 will be 25 years old next year anyways. Wait ain't too bad anyways.
Its Daimler's fault that badge got attached to the PT Cruiser and the T&C. It was Daimler's call to kill Plymouth after the PT (PlymouTh) Cruiser was greenlit. If they hadn't killed Plymouth, they would have also sold way more Voyagers and been able to leave the T&C as the low volume higher end van. Daimler really…
Unless its a Buick, it doesn't need Buick vents. So much hate.
I'm failing to understand how this in any way contributed anything constructive to this conversation...
I work at a GM dealer, albeit in parts, but I'll still respond.
Ive never said anything about Corvettes or the LT1, all I did was simply post links to credible sources on Coyote power output. For the record, I'm a fan of Ford's IRS systems and there's a reason why I own an MN12 along with my SN95.
Build a Thunderbird that's practical and also less expensive. Hit the magic MN12 formula over again and sell over a million cars. The whole point of the MN12 chassis 25 years ago was it was supposed to go under the Falcon and replace the Panther but of course beancounters killed it, and after they got DEW98 they built…
And like the LS1 Camaros and plenty of other cars, turns out the Mustangs are underrated from the factory. Turns out the C7 is not underrated from the factory and therefore makes about the same power output as a Mustang GT...

The Coyote 5.0s make 395 rwhp...
HA, I was reading this and thinking to myself how much the new IRS system looks like an MN12 rear subframe. I've got an '89 'bird and I can't wait to see the similarities. They look pretty darn close in the pictures.
I'd like to see a few more cool cars from the 80s that never show up in games, like:
Understood. That first picture got scaled way down for some reason, I think because it was posted on photobucket. Its more obvious on larger pictures and in person. I remember drawing pictures of them when they were new and liking the shape of the greenhouse, which of course came from 30 years of BMWs...
Fords have always had the same controls for their AC systems, just something they do that makes them unique. Even the very early AC on my dads 1963 Thunderbird has "Max AC." Somebody even made up a funny fake story about why:

Not really, the BMW 3200CS, and e9 predate the Corvair...
You just dont see it, sure it does, the picture is just small and hard to see on a black car with black window moldings. This is much clearer:
The 94-95s were even stronger when they got a redesigned intake plenum. MN12s are good cars, I posted mine above in the thread.
I'm not saying it was, but I wanted to make sure it conformed to the rules of this QOTD as I posted.
Look at the post comparing the two red ones, and then proceed to open your eyes. You can clearly see the nearly identical shape of the greenhouse and A, B, and C pillars. The proportions are the same as well as the very dominant body crease between the base of the greenhouse and the side door handle. The slightly…
Did you see the larger pictures?
