I entirely agree with you, 04 GT driver here. The steering feel while overboosted still feels connected to the road which is vastly better than what you would find in most new cars. I drove a new e350 coupe where the steering was the numbest thing I have ever driven, and that includes old Ford and Chevrolet pickups…
