Thats gay. I sure hope that California doesnt do that, I kind of like having the vintage plates.

Well for instance my friend in Florida was saying that they have to get new ones every 5 years, in Florida! That just sounds ridiculous to me. Besides being a little dirty, the original 1989 plates on my F-150 and Thunderbird (both '89s) dont look any different from new ones...

Interesting, in California we just keep the same plate. The only thing that has changed about them in 50 years is the color and the number pattern...

You sons of bitches are stealing our basketball team! Sacto 916 ftw...

Of course not, that would be rude... :-p

My daily Thunder(cougarfalcon)bird, you know, so nobody questions my sexual orientation:

Thats pretty sweet.

Thats awesome, what kind of truck do you have?

I still have my original window sticker, thanks...

Dammit Nemo!

@zeeboid: So do I, thats rotten that they would take your cars.

@evoCS: Story of my life. :-p

Along with the AOD they descended from, and to some extent the stock C4 the AOD was based on.

Thats something I would really like to do to my 04 GT, how does it corner now compared to the log axle?

Awesome, did you install a Cobra subframe in an SN95? I'd like to know more. :)

Precisely, which is why I much prefer driving my MN12 Ford Thunderbird with fully independent SLA suspension front and rear, over my Mustang GT with MacPherson front and log axle rear...

Now playing

I liked back when car ads actually were about cars, like this commercial for the MN12 Mercury Cougar XR7, a great car. One that, unlike the Jetta, has an Independent Rear Suspension.
