Because the goal is to mandate insurance, the first mandatory step is to remove causes of bad health so that those people don’t put too much strain on the system.
You’d have had a point if you didn’t post this in an article about Massachusetts. Massachusetts was the model for the ACA, meaning it mandates all residents to have insurance. So, the no insurance thing isn’t really an issue.

I have to agree. Mrs. Maisel is a great show and I say that as a millennial married to a millennial and both of us love the show. My wife, who agrees with me on virtually nothing when it comes to TV and movies, and I are huge fans.

Did you even read the article that I cited? They cite the studies right in it. In fact, they cite the original researcher who incorrectly concluded it harms IQ by giving her statement that she was wrong and citing where that came from.
