Am I missing something? I'm not sitting in front of iTunes right now, but isn't there an option on the iPod setup page with a checkbox that reads "Display album artwork" or something to that effect?

I hate to be one of the hay-sayers, but this "dock" doesn't really look all that functional. First of all, it seems most of the weight is being supported by the dock connector and that over time it might bend. Secondly, I'm not sure the dock has enough weight to it. Glad to see this update, specially the new column flow. I always hated it when I would get about 10 e-mails and the list would flow off screen. I'm also digging being able to specify which part of the screen a particular app's notifications displays on.

If I remember right, Virtue Desktops picked up off of the Desktop Manager codebase. So they really are the same thing; Virtue Desktops just has more features.
