this happened recently in my ‘hood with a rooster: these folks hatched some chicks and didn’t identify the rooster until it was larger and started crowing - neighbors started to complain. they re-homed the rooster. sometimes you don’t know you have a rooster till it’s too late.

i’m white and huge DC fan - appreciate Rock’s comedy genius as well. I was crushed when DC ended the show’s run, but it’s an interesting dynamic and delicate balance for black comics to base their success on racial/social commentary for the same audience that they are commenting on, for sure.
