Nice reporting . . .
I know about those, but the Indian in the second pic is a Chieftain from the Polaris lineup. The Polaris Indians have an entirely different engine from what S&S is making.
What’s with the Indian? Is S&S starting to do their magic on Polaris mills too?
It totally works, though! Because the junkyard guys pulled a fast one on Oddjob! If you watch closely, you’ll notice they swapped out his 64 Lincoln for a 63.
Do those doors make the sound the Delorean doors made in Back to the Future? Or are they more like the disappointingly quiet Delorean doors in real life?
I’m the friend with the Lincoln. I should have known the universe was telling me this was a bad idea when my plane from Madison to Detroit broke down at the gate. I had a duffel bag full of tools, but Delta didn’t seem to want my help . . .

Could've just been stretching out his leg between shifts. I do that quite a bit on long rides.
Reminds me of a line from that wonderful Dennis Leary song:
I always thought the Flex would have been a better fit as a Lincoln than a Ford. Especially if they made the 3-box design like you mention. Make the rear doors suicide and you have yourself a new Continental.
